Tenth 'inktober' entry! Hooray! This is Kanai, a swole African wild dog / painted dog. She's very competitive, very friendly and very strong--and is a baby of my friend Wiggleshark ( http://wiggleshark.tumblr.com ) She's precious, I feel!

Much as I very much pined to do a piece a day, five of them didn't pass satisfying muster to me and things got dreadfully busy throughout the month. Nevertheless, I'm very happy to draw this much--this has definitely been my most productive month all year. Speaking of which--for anyone who cares about such, yesterday marked exactly one year since I started this drawing odyssey! What a difference it has made along the way! Thank you all again, as ever, for all of you who have encouraged and supported me or just plain seemed keen on my work. I really appreciate it!
