Rutherford Nikolaas Graven von Esther
Title can't be empty.

Well, getting out of that burnout was a hard one. It took me a while to get back into the groove of things. And after spending the last few months pushing myself to the limit in terms of what I can draw. I was wondering when the burnout would strike. And strike it did and it did so hard! I was also busy helping my younger sibling prepare for her finals. So I had to put my hobby to the side. But now that the burnout has dissipated. I can get back into drawing!
This one was a challenge for him. Getting myself back into the groove without being able to practice with a doodle was hard. I had to adjust myself so many times and look at the tutorials I’ve saved again. But after spending around… more than twelve hours on this. I am very proud of myself for how it came out.
I already loved how Rutherford looked from the start. And I’ve only been updating him in small but noticeable ways visually-wise. But after spending months developing him and adding more depths and layers to his background. And writing his story in my [ En: Cht White Chrysanthemum ] drafts. I wanted to update him again. I wanted to change the way he looks to show his heritage as a Swift Fox and a Silver Fox. But at the same time, I didn’t want to change his visual from scratch again. But after looking at several references to both fox species. I was able to just add small changes that didn’t dramatically change his visuals. They’re pretty small. Some would even call me lazy. But I don’t care about those people.
He is my character. And I will design him however I want to.
