From the creator of Stitch...
This sketch art was given to me by as a surprise. He had gone to an Art Expo / Convention called CTN Animation Expo, and found Chris Sanders there. Chris Sanders is responsible for the creation of my favorite Disney character, Stitch.
Well, Kres knew the Stitch was my favorite cartoon character, and apparently asked Chris if he was willing to draw a picture for him. He apparently was fine with it, so Kres provided him with a reference to Bobby, and this was drawn.
Now, it should be noted that all of the above events happened without my knowledge. I was at home doing stuff when Kres comes on the IM telling me he has a gift for me. I was curious, so I asked what it was. He said he would only give me one clue. A single word: ohana.
I was left with that clue and nothing else for about another hour and a half. When Kres finally got home, he presented me a picture of the sketch. The picture has been cropped to take out the white space along the sides for posting purposes (but I have the original photo of the pic still intact).
Kres also intends to send the sketch to me in the mail, and I'm really looking forward to getting it. The creation of the character that Chris Sanders created has led to me knowing many people that I care about.
Oh and by the way, in an effort to prove it was really him (as opposed to someone who was just claiming to be him for whatever reason) Kres actually took a photo of Chris holding the sketch he'd done for me. I won't be posting that but it confirmed it was the real Chris Sanders.
This picture means the world to me because of how much I owe Chris for what he's done for me with the creation of Stitch. I also owe Kres a great deal for doing this for me in the first place.
