Good to See You
Here is Death's raven friend. Before anyone says anything, he is tripedal in the story. I knew it'd be all too convenient that a wood carving looks like a two, but it'd be a lot harder to have something next to it to come off as inappropriate, and I intended to make no jokes. I did look up Victorian wallpaper, to get the background. Very complex, their patterns. I tried keeping it simple, but I couldn't resist trying for a Steampunk style.
This was drawn on the evening of July 31, 2020. Only the corvid was drawn with a pencil, most of which I erased in the colouring process. Inked with a fountain pen. Coloured with pencil crayons and markers. I spent (maybe) 71 minutes on this, start-to-finish. I listened to Within Temptation: Hydra.
