A Patient Death: World Map of Ciracade
This is the world map for my story: A Patient Death
The story of a hundred year war in a world called Ciracade. The Ferrin Union and Astmoor have been at each others throats for just over a century now, and in a world of dead magic and violent men things are going from bad to worse. A plague of madness is burning through the northwest, and while that only gets worse the nobility have gotten so use to a state of war they can't imagine anything else. Breeze Czeslaw is a the most feared Named Man of the North, a champion swordsman famous for surviving - both a curse and blessing. He's tried to leave his life of violence and misery behind, but it's not done with him. Meanwhile Lord Roland san Estoc is doing his damndest to keep from dragging the war on for another fifty years, but he continually finds himself blocked by greed and apathy, a problem in the King's Court of Ferrin, as insidious and destructive as the plague itself. But Lord Roland has his own history, and his own secrets, ones that could undermine both him and everything he has worked for.
I'll update this if need be. The story begins in the Northwest Madlands, in the place called 'Eltric Chasm'. Ferrin is the Union, and it's currently at war with the Astmoor Empire. More about the political relations will come out as the story progresses, but you'll see.
