Hueroc/Ellora: Bathe (Collaboration)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Hot off the presses, here's the latest part of the series! Poor Hueroc looks like he's really wearing down... Hopefully she'll find a way to get him to enjoy being her mate soon! ^^ As always, the picture is Fortuna's, and the story below is mine:
Ellora was purring at him again. The sound made a little knot of fear draw together in Hueroc's belly; whenever she purred, it seemed, it meant that she was either doing or about to do something that he wouldn't like. He growled softly as she approached him, his gaze drawn to the pair of leather straps she carried in her jaws, but didn't bother to back away or try to fight. There was nowhere to go, and if he tried to stop her then she would just use her magic to incapacitate him... and then she would punish him.
He shivered at the thought.
She set the pair of straps down and nuzzled him. "There you are, my sweet... Have you been resting?"
"Yes," he sighed, and slowly sat up from where he'd been sprawled on the floor, eyes low for a moment before he brought up his gaze to look back at her beautiful face, though he didn't return her nuzzle.
"I have something for us to do today," she went on, that purr returning again, and she glanced at the leather straps she'd brought with her for a moment. "You've been cooped up in here for a while and barely had a chance to go outside... I thought you might like to walk down the mountain with me and have a bath in the lake."
His head bobbed automatically, accepting, but after a moment he realized that wasn't nearly as bad as what he'd feared she might do and nearly smiled back at her. "Yes, that does sound nice," he said, not so reluctant to look into her eyes as he had been a moment ago. It was only after the words were out of his mouth that he remembered the straps she'd brought with her, and he groaned to himself... there had to be a catch. There had to be something she was going to do during this little trip that he wouldn't like...
"You just hold still a moment so I can get these on you..." She nuzzled him again, then picked up the shorter of the two straps and held it up to his nose; he sighed, but obeyed and kept still so she could put it on. "Good boy," she murmured while she wrapped it around his snout and buckled it tight, pinning his jaws shut, then she clipped one end of the second, longer strap to his collar: a leash.
This is the catch, he thought with a muffled moan, looking at the floor again. I get to go outside and swim in her lake... but I have to walk there gagged, and on the end of her leash.
"Ready to go?" she smiled at him, and tied the other end of the leash to her tail before standing and tugging lightly on it to encourage him. His head and tail drooped, but he stood, and when she began to walk he trailed along behind her, watching the ground beneath his paws. Hopefully nobody would be on her territory to see him being led around like her pet...
Ellora walked him out of the cave and along a well-worn trail through the trees that led down the mountainside, her tail swishing gently back and forth as she walked, only occasionally glancing back to see how he was doing--a tug on the leash would tell her immediately if he stopped or tried to get away. He looked longingly up at the sky for a moment, wishing for a chance to just fly away, but sighed again and kept following her, watching her tread the narrow trail in front of him, watching her hips and tail sway while she walked...
She was so beautiful, he thought, groaning softly again. She might have been the most beautiful dragoness she'd ever seen, and she'd chosen him of all dragons to be her mate... he should have felt honored by her choice. But to do what she'd done to him? How could it be an honor to be tormented so much? Unless she was testing him, somehow... But it was still hard to make suffering like this seem worth it most of the time.
A tug of the leash made him realize he'd slowed down, and he hurriedly got back to her pace, stepping a little closer to her so it would stop tugging at his neck... He wished he could walk beside her, so it wouldn't feel so strongly like she was leading him wherever she wanted, but the path was too narrow, so he had to settle for being close enough to keep the leash from going taut. His claws were free, and he probably could have cut the leash, cut the strap on his muzzle, and fled, but here in the forest her power was likely even stronger, and he might not even get off the ground before she used her magic to summon the whole forest up to stop him. Sighing again, he let the thought slip away and trudged quietly along behind her; this was far from the worst she'd done to him anyway... There was no sign of any other dragons, thankfully, and they padded along in near-silence, taking in the sights and sounds and smells of the forest while they descended from the mountain.
It took them about half an hour to reach the shore of the lake, and she stopped on the water's edge, letting her walk next to him before tugging briefly on the leash to get him to stop. Purring at him, she untied the leash from her tail, then removed it from his collar, and after coiling it up on the bank she walked slowly into the clear water, beckoning for him to accompany her with her tailtip.
He followed her obediently, stepping slowly into the lake: the water was cool enough for him to feel, but still pleasant, and he stopped with her in the shallows, settling back on his haunches and letting his four paws, rump and tail soak.
"Doesn't that feel nice?" she purred, turning to face him and nuzzling his snout.
"Mm-hmm..." he managed to get past his muzzle; the water really did feel good, regardless of being there with her, being muzzled, wearing that collar... If only she would let him enjoy this as a free dragon and not her "mate," he thought with a sigh.
"I thought you'd like it." Rearing back onto her haunches, she stroked his cheek with a forepaw and licked gently at his forehead; he moaned softly in response, waiting for her to let him swim so he could have a little time to himself... As if it would be easy to forget her while wearing the collar and muzzle, he sighed again, leaning just a little bit into her touch.
