I slept peacefully in the barn, all night. I didn't make it back home until it was late I realized. Not long after I did I changed back into my Pegasus form and went straight to sleep.

Hours later I could hear a bird chirping outside morning has come, I rose my head from my slumber and yawned. I got up and shook myself. Then my ear flickered when I heard someone coming. Then I saw Frank enter the barn.

Frank let out a whoosh of air and said, "God there you are Roxanne. Where have you been I've been waiting for you all night. I thought something happened to you."

I remembered I was gone for a long time, and didn't even tell Frank I came back home. I never knew he was up all night waiting for me. I said, "Sorry I caught up on something."

He giggled, "Really? You never been gone for a long time before, this is the first time."

I smiled at him, "Thought I try something different for once."

Then Frank had a curious look on his face, "So where did you go last night? After you left the bar last night, what happened? Did you wonder around town all night by yourself?"

I thought about the reason why but he wouldn't like it, "Honestly you don't want to know."

Frank had a concerned face, "Why? Did someone harass you at the bar again?"

I only answered, "Something like that."

He asked, "Who?"

I only looked away, and he pressed me, "Come on Roxanne, who?"

I stared at him again and I sighed.

This isn't going to end well.

I kicked a bucket so hard it went flying, and I shouted, "That son of a bitch!"

Roxanne came to me and said, "Calm down Frank, it was nothing."

But I thought differently, "Nothing, huh? Nothing. Are you kidding me?! Ray molested you! He touched you! I can't believe that he would do that to you! Of all the people that mom's with he goes and does that to you behind her back! That stupid cheating son of bitch!"

Roxanne shouted, "Frank, I said calm down!"

I immediately buttoned my mouth, but a lot of thoughts ran through my head. Ray you son of a bitch! If you ever touch Roxanne like that again I'll kill you! Ohhhh man I want to say that to his face right now.

Roxanne interrupted my thoughts, she cocked her head, "Frank?"

I stared at her and sighed, "Sorry Roxanne, it's just....I can't believe Ray would do that to you, I mean how could he? Does he even have and feelings for my mother at all? What the hell?"

Roxanne took a few steps toward me, "How do you think I feel? I mean in all honesty after he touched me, I wanted to turn into my normal self and kick him so hard he wouldn't stand up straight for a long time."

I laughed despite my anger, "Oh that would teach Ray not to mess with someone like you. I mean come on, just because you're pretending to be a mortal doesn't mean it's okay to touch you like that, right?"

She nodded and said, "I agree with you a hundred percent."

I sighed and sat down on a crate in the barn, "So what do we do? Now that you've told me about Ray, should I tell mom? I mean how am I suppose to tell her that?"

Roxanne shook her head, "I don't know Frank, it's a tough thing to think about."

I let out a frustrated sighed and said, "Well even if I did she probably wouldn't believe me, I mean where's the proof in that?"

Roxanne came over and nuzzled my cheek and I hugged her face, and smiled at her. She said, "You okay?"

I nodded and let go of her, "Thanks for that Roxanne, I needed that." I sighed once more and stood up, "Look I'll worry about Ray later, right now I just want to live out this day just like any normal day."

Roxanne then said, "You know we're going have to tell her sooner or later."

I nodded, "I know."

I thought about Ray and mom for the whole day, but no matter how much I wanted to tell my mother about this, I didn't tell her. Hell I wouldn't even tell Miley this since she lives with them.

A part of me thinks the reason why I didn't tell mom any of this is because she wouldn't believe me and there was no proof. Another part of me is telling me she deserves everything that's coming to her because of her drinking back then.

Of course I still shouldn't blame her for what happened to me up to this day, Roxanne is right I should forgive her before she does die. I think I did a little bit.

The night came so quickly in fact I didn't notice it until the sun went out. I guess I was so preoccupied about Ray I didn't even pay attention to everything around me.

I went outside for fresh air and found Roxanne as a Pegasus laying near the lake again, watching the stars.

I smiled and I went to her, she smiled at me as I went closer and I sat down beside her.

I sighed when I looked at the stars and said, "So, anything you want to share?"

Roxanne looked at me and said, "I was thinking about someone."

I looked at her and said, "Oh yeah? Who?"

She didn't say anything and turned her head away. I was concerned but I didn't press her about it, I decided to let it go for now.

Me and Roxanne were just sitting around and she finally broke the silence, "Frank?"

I looked at her, "Yeah?"

She took a glance at me then she turned her head straight ahead, "Frank....Have you ever...Felt love for someone?"

I tilted my head, "What do you mean? Are you in love with someone?"

She sighed and got up on all fours and said, "Honestly Frank, I don't know what I'm feeling anymore. I don't know if I'm going crazy, or if it's just me."

"I don't understand."

She looked at me and said, "Frank there's something I didn't tell you. And quite frankly I don't know how to tell you this."

I got up on my two feet and said, "Tell me what? Look Roxanne if something's wrong then you need to tell me. After all I'm your friend."

Roxanne shook her head in frustration and said, "I mean I wonder who am I really? I mean am I a Pegasus? Or am I a mortal? I mean I'll tell you this much, I don't know which is it anymore."

When I looked at her, she got the message and continued, "After I left the bar last night, I went to the park and I saw Daniel leaving from work. Daniel invited me to go to his house with him and seeing that he was a nice guy I accepted his offer. I was fine thank you for asking and we talked for a long time in fact. I was getting ready to leave before he started to tell me that I reminded him of his late mate, Cindy. He said that I look liked her and not very long before I decided to leave he kissed me. Then after that I kissed him back! I mean seriously he's a mortal! Have I gone completely insane?! Or what?"

I stared at her for a long time after her tale, wow Daniel kissed her. I knew he liked her but not that much. But I think I understand why.

Roxanne interrupted my thoughts, "Frank please say something. Am I going crazy? What is it?"

I sighed and said, "Well....I don't think you're going crazy I mean, I think you're just following your feelings. I mean I know what you are, but I don't think it would matter since you're...Talking to him."

She said, "Frank....More than once when I'm with Daniel, I've felt this feeling, a warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Do you know what it means?"

I smiled and nodded, "That means you like Daniel. That means you're starting to have feelings for him."

Her eyes went wide and she said, "What? Why?"

I took a step towards her, "Because he cares about you. In fact you two apparently have some things in common, don't you?"

She nodded her head, "I would think so."

I asked her a very important question, "Do you love him?"

She hesitated for second and then she nodded, "Yeah...I do. I've never felt this way about anybody, except Daniel. So yeah I do love him."

I beamed at her and said, "That's a good thing, you feel alive here and you fell in love with someone. That's a good thing."

She asked me, "You really don't see the problem with who I really am? And who I want?"

I shook my head.

She stared at me, "Frank do you know what I am? I'm a Pegasus, not a human."

I went toward her, "I know you're not a human, but you can still be one, I mean you love Daniel don't you? What's stopping you?"

She looked ahead, "My fears."

I shrugged, "What are you afraid of?"

"I'm afraid of losing Daniel if he finds out who I am. And I'm worried if the gods find out what I'm thinking they would hurt him or worse than that."

I raised my hands, "Roxanne, you hate the gods and they're not here. I mean they would never hurt you if they tried anyway, and plus they don't know you're here."

She looked liked she was hiding something and I pressed her, "What's wrong Roxanne?"

She shook her head, "Nothing forget it."

It didn't look like it was Daniel she was thinking that time, but what was it? I would have to ask her that later. I said, "Roxanne listen, I think you should follow your feelings."

She looked at me, "Even if we're not totally the same kind? Even when he's not a Pegasus?"

"Roxanne I don't think you're an animal, I mean you have feelings and emotions like we do. You're a thinking feeling creature. There's nothing to be ashamed of."

Roxanne then said with a worried look on her face, "But what if the gods find out? I mean if they even-"

I shouted at her, "Why are you so worried about what they want?!"

She looked shyly down at the ground, "Frank."

"Why are you so worried about what they want? Why do you care about what they want? What about what YOU want?"

She closed her eyes.

I put my hand on her nose and said, "Listen Roxanne, even if you love him, pursue it. I mean you love him and I don't see the problem with that. I love Amy and it feels great. And if the gods have a problem with it, to hell with them. And if any mortal have any problem with it then to hell with them as well. Because you have feelings and you don't want them to be hurt. You have to worry about what you want, I mean let me ask you this. What would your mom and dad want you to do?"

She opened her eyes and looked at me.

I said, "They would want you to be happy that's what they would want you to do. I mean a few other mortals came onto you and tried to kiss you, but Daniel he's different, he loves you Roxanne and you need to go after him. It's your life, and you need to stop worrying about what everyone else wants."

Roxanne had a determined look on her face and said, "You know Frank? You're right."

I patted her on the nose, "I am right."

Then she said, "I will talk to him. I won't worry about what everyone else wants. Not even the gods. I don't care what they think. I do love Daniel."

I smiled at her, "Good."

Then Roxanne emitted a bright white light and then changed into a human. She said, "I'm going to find him now."

I asked, "Do you want me to come with you?"

She shook her head, "No I'll do this on my own. I don't know what might happen but I'll be back here later, ok?"

I nodded in agreement, "Alright then. I won't stop you. Good luck."

She smiled and said, "Thank you and I hope Daniel's not too guilty for me rejecting him last night. Lets hope he's not."

I went to Daniel's house in town, in the night. I hope I know what I'm doing. I shook my head and said to myself, "No you've gone way too far in this. You came back here to find Frank after so many years have passed and you've been there for him and now you have found love and you need to pursue it. Even when he's not a Pegasus."

I went on Daniel's porch and knocked on the door twice, then I heard footsteps and Daniel appeared at the door. He looked surprised, "Roxanne? Hi."

I smiled at him, "Hi."

Daniel then had a curious look on his face, "What? What are you doing here?"

I only replied, "I...Came to talk to you."

Daniel then changed his expression to panic and said, "Roxanne I'm so sorry I came on to you like that. It's just that I liked you ever since I met you with Frank and I....I-"

I wrapped my mortal hands around his head and kissed him on the lips effectively shutting him up. I pulled my face away from his to look at him, he was surprised. I said to him, "It's alright....I forgive you."

Daniel was in a loss for words, "I...I don't know what to say."

I shook my head, "You don't have to say anything, in fact I thought I was a fool for walking away from you last night. I never should have done that. I'm the one who is sorry."

Daniel smiled at me and said, "Roxanne."

I looked deep in his eyes, "Yes, Daniel?"

Then he said it, "I...I love you Roxanne."

I smiled at him, "I love you too Daniel....I love you too."

Then we passionately kissed on the porch and went inside his house.
