KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Kelly had discarded the sun dress.  He didn't need it anymore.  The ninetales pokemorph was that of a fox, had blondish fur all over himself except for the white tuft on his chest.  All nine of his tails were fluffy and he kept them off the ground, and at the end of them was flame red fur.  Naked, he revealed a body that seemed sculpted for a fifteen year old.  Although his muscles weren't well defined in his arms and his legs, he had a sixpack of adominable muscles.  His waist was slightly curved like a woman's, but any one looking at him straight on would see his scrotum and his sheath.  Kelly's flame red eyes blazed with confidence.

"What a beautiful Saturday!" he exclaimed, with his hands out.

Mike looked up at the sky and said, "Please, everyone will hear you."

"Oh, come on, you can't imagine such a beautiful day."

"It's beautiful to you since now you are practically my slave," said Mike.  Mike was grumbling.  It wasn't because the todd had crossdressed on him, that was overwith.  But Kelly had practically talked him into capturing him with a pokéball, and he did.

The nine tails grabbed the human and said in the same sultry voice, "And yes, I'm all yours.  I wouldn't want to be a slave to anyone else but you."

"Cut that out!"

"Why? Don't you want affection from your pokémon?" Kelly said in that seductive voice.

"No, it just bothers me."

"Oh, come on, I know you enjoy it."

Mike shrugged.  It's true, though, whether he liked it or not, Kelly was his pet now.  He sighed and put up the Pokedex to Kelly and the Pokedex activated, saying in a synthesized woman's voice: "Ninetails pokemorph. It has long been said that each of the nine tails embody an enchanted power. A long-lived Ninetales will have fur that shines like gold.  This particular pokemorph is owned by and registered to Michael Smithson."

Mike put his palm to his face with the embarrassment of it all while Kelly nuzzled him.  "See? Even your pokedex says I'm owned by you," Kelly said warmly.

"Okay, what are your abilities?" asked Mike while he scanned the entry.  "It says you are a fire and fighting type, and you are capable of both fire and psychic abilities.  Your signature attack is flash fire, but due to your hybrid nature I can train you in a number of human martial arts."

"Yep!" said Kelly.  "Want to see my Karate?"

"You're sick," said Mike.

"Nope, I'm hale and healthy as an Onyx."

Mike looked up Pokemorphs in general.  "All pokemorphs are pokemon that have been genetically engineered with spliced human genes.  They have basic human shape and human intelligence.  Pokemon that have been engineered include: Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard; Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur; Squirtle, wartortle, and blastoise . . ." the pokedex droned on.  Great, a good number of pokemon were genetically engineered, thought Mike as the list included vulpix, nine tales, growlith, howldoon, machamp, and machoke.  A majority of the pokemon that had been discovered so far was not genetically engineered.  But a small number of them were.  They just happened to be the popular ones.

"Okay, lets find something to train you with . . . "

Kelly squealed with glee.  It took a while before they found a glen.  The small copse of trees surrounded a meadow that the two of them can train together.  Fortunately, as luck would have it, it contained a bare patch of ground. Mike threw a dead log in the patch of ground.  "Alright, show me ember."

Kelly got ready, and with a little concentration, opened his mouth and spit out embers of fire at the log which singed it.  He looked at Mike with a hand over the back of his head. "Sorry about that," he grinned.

"Nevermind, try it again," said Mike.

Kelly concentrated again, and managed to spit out some more embers.  "Okay, so how does it work?" Mike asked.

Kelly replied, "I just concentrate and a heat point forms at the back of my mouth, and then I open my mouth and blow fire.  Simple enough."

Mike wondered, if Kelly was psychic, he could probably control where the heat point will manifest itself. "Can you move the heat point?" asked Mike.

"Move it?" Kelly never thought he could move the heat point.

"Yes, try your hands," Mike said. "Try moving your heat point to your hands."

"Okay, Master," said Kelly.  He concentrated on moving the heat point.  The heat point did move.  He managed to move it to his middle eye.  Soon, embers started shooting from above and between his eyes. Kelly grabbed his head.  "That wasn't right, was it?"

"Well, we could establish that it could be moved," Mike said.  "Okay try moving it down your body."

Kelly nodded, and formed the heat point in the back of his mouth, he moved the heatpoint down, concentrating on where it should be moved.  The heat point formed at his larynx and soon Kelly was spitting embers at the log while holding his throat.  After he gushed the embers, and the log was smoking pretty well now, Kelly spoke gruffly, "I moved it to my throat."

"Okay, we need to work on your knowledge," he said.  Mike grabbed a book on the plan of the human body in Martial Arts.  Martial Arts as known by the humans of the Pokemon world was formulated with Eastern philosophies and Western philosophies.  This book had some Eastern philosophy in it, especially on the chakras.  Mike explained it while Kelly looked on. "Look, here are the chakras of the human body, which would be your body.

"Each Chakra has it's own purpose. The first is the root, this represents Earth and it's located in the tailbone.  The second is the Sacral chakra, and it's located at your prostate gland, that represents water.  The third is the solar plexus chakra.  It represents fire.  The fourth is the heart chakra, here in your chest.  It represents air.

"The fifth chakra is in your throat, it represents truth.  The sixth Chakra is in your pineal gland.  It represents vision and inherent intelligence. The last and seventh chakra is at the top of your head, just beyond your skull.  It represents your connection to the Cosmos."

"So, all I have to do is move my heat point from the back of my mouth to my hands," said Kelly, his voice still hoarse.

"Basically."

Kelly sat back, and thought a little.  Then he stood up and concentrated.  As the heat point formed in the back of his mouth, he kept it warm as he forced it to move down his body.  The heat point settled in Kelly's heart, and then he moved it out of his chest through his right shoulder, down his right arm and to the palm of his hand.   He moved the heat point just out of the palm of his hand and increased the heat.  In no time, fiery embers shot out of his hand.  The log was soon charred to ash.

"I did it," said Kelly.  "I DID IT! I did it, Master!"  Kelly ran and picked up Mike and spun him around and around.  "I'm so happy that you trained me, Master!"

"Uh, yes," said Mike as the ninetales morph spun him around too fast that he was starting to get a little sick.

A few more hours of walking and the pair entered a grand field.  In fact, this part of the land of Kanto was a mixture of light forests and grasslands.  The light autumn day sent a chill through Mike's body, and he put on his jacket to trap more heat about his body. Kelly walked beside him unconcerned about the cold.  Much of his fur trapped the heat of his body and kept him warm.

"Are you alright?" asked Kelly.

Mike nodded. "Yes, I'm alright."  Mike looked up and something caught his eye.  "Spearows."

The bird pokemon gathered in the trees.  They looked fiercesome, as if something not to be triffled.  "I'm ready to fight, Master!" said Kelly.

"It's better to avoid a flock of them," said Mike as he grabbed Kelly and pulled him as he peacefully walked around and out of the way of the flock.

"But?  As you wish, Master," said Kelly.  He was owned now, he'd have to do what ever his trainer asked him to do.  However, a large flock of spearow started flying in from the mountains.  A few of them saw Mike and Kelly.  They zeroed in on Kelly and they dove right for him.

"Master, they are coming right for me!"  Kelly said.

"Use ember!" said Mike.

Kelly didn't have time to move the heat point from his throat to his hands.  He opened his mouth and spat a volley of fiery embers at the Spearows.  Many of them avoided his attacks, and a few became shocked and disoriented by the attack.

"Now, use confusion!" said Mike.

Kelly concentrated his brain energy on one of the spearows.  A telepathic signal was sent from his mind to the spearow, disorienting it.  It was so badly disoriented that it began to fall out of the sky.  Mike took a pokeball, and threw it.  The pokeball struck the spearow and opened on the rebound.  A flash of light, and the spearow was sucked in.  The ball fell to the ground and began to rock.  The flock scattered since Mike managed to suck one of their own into the pokeball.  Then the familiar sound of the ping was complete, and he captured the Spearow.

Mike hurried to retrieve the ball, and they both ran.  "Hurry, Kelly, oh and good work there!" he said.

Kelly responded, "I have to practice so that my heat points will come out of my hands as second nature."

Unconscious competence, Mike thought to himself as they ran.  They were far out of the  Spearows' range.  They both stopped to catch their breath.  "You caught a Spearow, Master!" said Kelly.

"Yeah, with your help," said Mike.  He released the Spearow, who still scowled at them. But the bird eventually sat by them.  Mike started a fire, and eventually raised a tent.  He then laid out his sleeping bag.

"Can I sleep with you, Master?" Kelly asked.

"Hmm?"

"It's going to get cold," said Kelly.

"I thought you'd enjoy it in your pokeball," said Mike.  He lifted up the Friend ball.

Kelly insisted, "Just for tonight, please?"

Mike wondered what had happened.  Kelly already slept with him once. "Okay," he said.  Finally, after they had a dinner of cod sandwiches, the spearow took a perch in the tree, and both Mike and Kelly got into the same sleeping bag.  Kelly embraced Mike as they slept.  It was a successful afternoon.
