Algae Eighty-Seven
"Finding this algae was grueling work and nothing short of a miracle. A plant that grew with extrasolar light, it had to be a myth! But here it was…"
This is but one of the many fractal frames exported for the audiovisual collab with Kris Wolf (which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/ngghtMcPvpE ). We took inspiration on the experimental videos made by Steina and Woody Vasulka in which they used image distortions in their videos to accompany the music. Speaking of music, the credit for that -as well as for stitching together the video- goes to Kris who worked really hard on that. I simply did the fractals. In the end we had 202 individual frames to work with. :D
