Tyrone walks to his father and pulls him out of the room.

"Dad, please don't strap me again, but I have something to tell you that I think you are not going to like, but you deserve the full truth. I think I...... no I know I have feelings for Manolo, feelings of love, friendship and....... sex"

Tyrone started to cower back fearing a slap from his dad, but when there was nothing he looked up at his dad who had a knowing smile on his face. His dad places a hand on his sons shoulder and replies.

"Ok, so finally you admit something which I have believed for some time, son it doesn't really surprise me to find out that you are gay. I know that it took a lot for you to come out to me, I'm proud of you son you stood and faced me knowing full well that there might be reprisals. But how can I do anything but support your decisions? You see son, I too have been living a lie which only your mother knows, now it's only right that you are told, you see before I met your mother when I was in medical college, I met this guy, his name is Michael Kanon, yes son as in Daniel's father, we started hanging around with each other. One day in the showers after working out I slipped and found myself face to face with his huge cock. Tyrone's eyes went wide as dinner plates upon hearing this news from his dad, who he thought was a homophobic gay hater.

"You and Daniel's dad had....... sex? Did you do it more than once or was it just one of those things?"

Tyrone watched as his dads head bowed in shame.

"Son, in truth me and Michael still go out at least once a week and usually end up in bed together, but please know this, I still love and adore your mother, she knows everything that goes on, when I met your mother, I made sure that she was told everything, I didn't want any secrets between us, your mother accepted me even after what I told her and she still to this day is ok with me seeing Michael, in fact she encourages it she says that it makes me a better lover. There is something else that you should know, when you were born I asked Michael and Sophie, Daniel's parents, to be your godparents, they both agreed. Of course now it's just Michael with Sophie passing away last year. So I ask the question son, how can I hate you and hit you for being gay? That would make me a hypocrite. Now, go back in there and tell Manolo how you feel, don't worry about Daniel and Tyler, I will keep an eye on them."

Tyrone and his father re-entered the room, Tyrone headed to Manolo's bedside and sat on the bed.

"Manolo, this is going to sound very strange coming from me, and the Horse and Dalmatian standing behind me will probably try and kill me, but you need to know the truth. I........ I love you Manolo, I want to be with you, sure I know that you probably don't want anything to do with me but to be honest I can't imagine life without you."

Manolo placed his paw on Tyrone's strong, thick shoulder and spoke.

"I will tell ya something and make a deal with ya, I have had a crush on you for the longest time, and if you can get back into school somehow and work hard at it, ya know bring your grades back up, then....... I would happily become your boyfriend"

Tyrone's face broke into a huge smile as he looked at his dad. Tyrone's father then spoke.

"Well son, I guess me and Principal Lions have a meeting to attend, a meeting where I will fight tooth and nail to get you back into school, but mark my words, I want to see an improvement in your grades and behaviour, no more bullying, if I get a sniff of the fact that you have so much as laid a hand on anyone, you will feel much more than my belt, do I make myself heard?"

Tyrone nodded his head and winced as he remembered the last time his dad's belt was used. Daniel is close to boiling point so I calmly take his hoofed hand in my paw and calmed him.

"Danny, let it go, Manolo has accepted Tyrone's apology, and has also now accepted Tyrone as a possible mate. I know that they have both done wrong, but they have now found each other so I think that things will begin to improve."

Daniel lets out a sigh but calms down and then approaches Tyrone.

"Tyrone, if Principal Lions accepts you back into school, and if your grades show signs of improvement, I will take you back onto the football team."

The following morning at the hospital and Manolo is ready to leave after being checked out thoroughly. The doctors have called me and I drive to the hospital to pick him up, I take him back to school and up to his room.

"Tyler, that day in the boys bathroom you saw something in me that you liked, even though everyone else had written me off. Boy Daniel sure is a lucky Horse to have you as a mate. All through history it is known that Dogs and Cats are mortal enemies; here today you and I are about to set that hatred aside."

Manolo puts his paw out and I take it in my own and shake it. Here today thousands of years of rivalry between Cats and Dogs has finally come to an end, at least in a small way.

Five days later and Tyrone is standing in the hallway of his home, wearing his school uniform, today he has a meeting with his dad and Principal Lions. Tyrone and his father make their way to school and head towards the principal's office.

Once at the office, Tyrone knocks on the door; the door opens to reveal Principal Lions, the Doberman steps aside to allow Tyrone and his father inside. Tyrone and his father take a seat in readiness for the meeting to start. Principal Lions takes his seat at his desk and looks at Tyrone and speaks.

"Ok, it's very simple Mr Blackstock, you were expelled from this school because you put a student in hospital, that kind of behaviour won't fly in my school, if I see it or hear of it, I will take action. However, your father tells me that you have been to see young Manolo at the hospital and has said that you are both now possible mates, whilst I can't officially condone same sex couplings it is a damn sight better than having bullies. I believe that Daniel Kanon has also said that as long as you get your place back and your grades and behaviour improve, he will take you back onto the football team and I am perfectly fine with that, but I want a little extra from you, if I allow you back into this school, I want you to look out for bullies and when you find any, I want you to report them directly to me, you will also have four months in which to improve your grades up to at least a B grade. I'm only giving you the opportunity to come back because of your family's good name and reputation, now if you agree to my terms I will ask you to sign that piece of paper on the desk in front of you and I will then allow you to get re-settled back into your dorm, but heed me, one wrong move and you are out, no questions asked, and no chance of coming back."

Tyrone nodded and signed the piece of paper, the Principal then dismissed him and Tyrone went to get re-settled in his dorm whilst his father and Principal Lions stayed for a chat.

"Kyle, you understand that if Tyrone offends even the slightest bit I will have no option but to remove him from school, and that would break my heart because as a student here, you were one of the best, it's not too late for Tyrone to make up for his misdemeanours, as long as he keeps his nose and horns clean he will be welcomed back."

Tyrone's father stood from his seat and shook the Doberman's paw and thanked him for being so understanding, and then he left the office.

Manolo saw Tyrone heading towards his dorm and caught up with him, he then offered to help carry Tyrone's bags to the dorm and they happily walked to the dorm together. Daniel watched unseen as the two began walking together, his tail begins to swish back and forth as a smile plays across his muzzle.
