The more accepted version of events that the crown will never say is something far, far darker. That a demonic force was unleashed wiping the city from existence. This is not often spoken of but some say that a once druid minotaur from some distant land made a pact with forces of the dark abyss. Power consumed the bull man and to speak his name is to invite his ever watching dark gaze upon you.

For this reason the name of Burik have been wiped from the records of the royal scribes and college of mages to never be said for fear of other cities to suffer Tristfall's fate."

Burik from Unchained Elements (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22897754/) fate was one that I changed radically as when I created the comic he was going to be a big hero, but as time went on I grew more attached to Trasull the gnoll and he became the focus. What happened to Burik. He traded his soul and many others for power. If there is anything left of the minotaur it is perhaps memories of his brief friendship for Trasull. Of course those feelings are not in the gnoll at all.
