Nobody in this world is perfect, in spite of the masks we wear, the airs we project or the carefully curated persona expressed through the art we commission. We all desire genuine friends, friends not defined by time spent knowing (or not knowing) someone but by how we treat each other; forgiving mistakes, showing compassion and understanding and helping each other be better. He has made friends, he has lost friends, and over time he has come to learn who his real friends are.
