Irq the Kobold
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
In the process of setting myself up on SoFurry, I'm uploading my older works here; for the sake of ease of headaches and to provide context and descriptions, I'm including what I originally wrote for this piece below. After starting to get serious about drawing in November of 2015, I'm quite proud of how much progress I've made--and I think if you find yourself curious to peek, you'll see those strides through these pieces too!

I've been on such a kobold kick that I ended up drawing this as a gift--so get a load of Irq the kobold. You just know you want to be besties with him! Irq is a professional yip-yapper, which makes him pretty A-OK in my book.
This piece took a bit longer than I initially expectedly, partly from having to adjust and re-draw a few proportions and components along the way--and tackling the chain mail proved to be a miring point (and a real hand cramper.) Still, I'm very happy with how this turned out, particulaly Irq's little feetie paws and mug. This clocked roughly 6.5 - 7 hours of work all told.
As I usually like to do, here's a time-lapse animated gif of the process if you're interested: http://i.imgur.com/QI0Khg2.gifv
Irq belongs to his player, whomever they may be!
