Adhara Reference by TheOwlette (Commission)
Hey everyone! Meet Adhara, the new dragoness I first introduced last week. Say hi, Adhara!

...well, I tried. But I wanted a dragoness, so I commissioned TheOwlette to help me design her, and this pretty creature was the result! I like her a lot. She'll probably be a neighbor of Ashar's, and they'll probably meet up, though what they'd do is unclear. :v Bio below:
Adhara is a serious dragoness, and little matters more to her than her strength and her reputation. She's strong, a skilled duelist, but also something of a grouch because of it: she goes into virtually every situation looking out for who has the advantage, being ready if a fight should begin, and always doing her best to make it clear that [i]she's[/i] the strong one, the one in control. "Relaxing" is something she has difficulty with, but she'd much rather be respected than be lazy, and who knows, relaxing might leave her vulnerable! So her calmer, gentler, friendlier side is something rarely seen.
This confrontational attitude has made it difficult for her to make friends, and she's something of a loner, both from other dragons and from the other races of the world. She doesn't mind that [i]too[/i] much, though, at least for now, as she's never felt much longing yet for a mate or eggs. She tells herself that maybe if she met a dragon who was strong enough to defeat her, she would consider them as a mate, but thus far she hasn't met any dragon who she thought was truly stronger than her! So she keeps her tail down and her concentration on maintaining her territory and her reputation.
To her embarrassment, however, she has a submissive side, a part of her that [i]wants[/i] control taken from her, makes her imagine it and sometimes crave it far more than she would like. But this side of her is very strongly suppressed, for fear of what other dragons might think of her if they found out; if anyone knew, they might think her weak, or someone who could be taken advantage of, or bullied around enough to make her want to submit... So she doesn't dare show this side of herself to anyone, and when she has to, she deals with such urges on her own, in private.
