Little Lair - Tiny Dragon Terrarium by Fortuna (Commission)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This commission was drawn by ! Go check it out in their gallery here. They've been doing a bit of a series of tiny little dragons in terrarium enclosures, and I couldn't resist seeing my dragons in one! Their little habitat has a mountainous theme, naturally~
It's important to get an enclosure that suits the behavior and natural environment of your dragon. These mountain-dwelling dragons are active fliers and thus require a lot of vertical space--well, honestly, they need a lot of space in general, but they also need an enclosure to stay and be safe in when their owner doesn't have the spare attention to keep track of them. This fabricated enclosure features plenty of ledges for the dragons to flutter and jump between, plus a built-in heat lamp for basking, a water dish, and multiple cave hides for the dragons to retreat to for rest or safety whenever they choose.
Note: we recommend not giving your dragons trinkets to hoard in the hides, as this may result in bitten fingers if they get defensive about their treasure, or squabbles between the dragons if they want to guard them from each other.
Letting them out regularly so they have more room to fly and explore is a must, but at least the three little dragons have things to do when they're shut up behind those glass doors! Hueroc's got the basking perch to himself at the moment, and he gets to soak up the heat on his wings, plus survey his mighty domain both beneath him and outside the glass. Yes, of course it is all his, for he is a mighty, tiny dragon, with fearsome smol roars to terrify everyone! Adhara doesn't feel like challenging him at the moment right now, though, cause sometimes that gets her spoken sternly at, so she's just napping in the cozy cool shade down at the bottom of the mountain--well, napping for now. Because Ashar is feeling playful and he is on the hunt, sneakily stalking her from above, that curious orange-marked snout peering down at her from the ledge above. A pouncing is probably imminent! But maybe if he is not too bouncy, she will let him join her in her comfy napping spot. If not, he'll probably get his snout pawbatted a few times, and then maybe he will have to go pester Hueroc instead...
Sometimes they get a bit rowdy if they're cooped up in there too long, but at least they have each other for company! And as soon as that [s]mystical forcefield[/s] glass door slides open, they'll have the whole house to explore once again~
