So, July was quite an eventful period. We had a heatwave here that beat the old records three days in a row, including one town that broke the national record three days in a row before burning down. It was not a fun heatwave and the AC was only a little bit of a help.

On lighter news, I've sold my condo. A little bit below asking price but when the purchaser didn't include a building inspection clause...well, nothing is broken but there's no backing out of it for him now just in case something does. Now I just have to find a rental until we can buy a new place.

Anyway, onto the stories!

Return to Vassalized Earth will update on Aug 13th. This will be the only chapter so far with only one of the two protagonists POVs.

The Fox General will update on Aug 27th. I know everyone is excited to see how Marco handles his new job.
