Prince Asrael Ref
Art by the excellent icarus-the-lion who was so nice to work with through the design process for this toobiness! Though I changed my profile picture a long time ago, I've finally gotten around to posting the ref of the new me!
You can call me "Asrael", the prince bit isn't necessary unless you're into that. Yes, the other ones were called Asrael too, but they're not *quite* the same person. You could say they are me, but I also am them, and... it's complicated.
I call myself a celestial dragon as a shorthand; I'm made of a number of elemental forces like space and time, life and death and change, all tied up into a weird knot. As such I don't have the most stable form compared to others, I might even change from one glance to the next like some kind of quantum phenomenon. As an example, there's a few common shapes my tail might have on the end of it and my horns and claws also shift without warning.
If I feel like it I can change my overall shape entirely, especially if I get all charged up. Not showing it here for your safety, but I can get a little mind-bending if I feel like playing with your sanity. Don't worry, you'll probably recover. :3
As noted, I'm male and I prefer the company of other male-like creatures, but I don't really handle relationships the same as most people. I can't really do 'romance', and I don't tend to make friends the same way. You're interesting to me, or you're not. As I've learned, that's a slightly psychopathic way to work with the world, but it's how I am.
The iridescent wings and arms tend to come out when I'm doing something particularly energetic. They're a bit like a heat sink, solar panel, and weapon all in one: they can soak up energy or discharge it to burn, cut, or dissolve things. Probably shouldn't touch them without warning.
