Most people have that one friend that they've known the longest. I know I have one and to this day he's one of my closest confidents. We met so fricken long ago that it might as well have been from birth at this point. When I was bullied in school, he stood up for me when no one else would. We did so much over the years and he's opened up to me about some of the darkest things that haunt him. It's a bond I cherish always and hope continues on until we meet our eventual mortal ends.
