A propelling leap, a blast of wind, and the dragoness rose into the sky. This was what dragons were made for, and Adhara clawed at the breeze as she flung herself into the cool morning air, so exhilarated to feel her wings propel her higher and higher, wind rushing over scales and the taut skin of flapping wings. The force from her wingbeats scattered dirt and fallen leaves that chased her up into the sky, and she roared from the pleasure of flight. What a feeling, what power and grace, what a thrill that she could never tire of~
