*"So they send these out twice a year?" Amber asked Mallory, tilting the card back and forth in her hand. The border of hers had a shimmering ink that denoted this was the first time she had ever appeared on one of these.

"Uh, not quite. If your card didn't change from the first print then you wouldn't get a second one. But yeah, every year you're printed you'll get at least one." Mallory looked over the mouse's shoulder, a little jealous of how good her picture looked.

"Well, hopefully this is the first of many then." Amber smiled, putting the card up on the shelf next to where Mallory's was. They made a nice pair.*
