Adhara Reference 2020 by Fortuna (Commission)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This beautiful new reference for Adhara was drawn by Fortuna! I'll add a link to it in her gallery once she posts it ^^
I decided Adhara was due for a new ref with a few visual updates and an anthro form! And an updated bio too, based on her... experiences... and development direction since I first made her x3 So here she is! Fortuna's done just a great job with both her feral and anthro forms, so without further ado, here are her bios. Note that her background and personality are a bit different between her feral and anthro forms!
Adult reference & bio on FA here.
Feral bio:
Adhara is a dragoness with a thick and serious exterior, so that it seems that little more to her than her strength and her reputation. She's big, strong, a skilled duelist, but also something of a grouch because of it: she goes into virtually every situation looking out for who has the advantage, being ready if a fight should begin, and always doing her best to make it clear that she's the strong one, the one in control. "Relaxing" is something she has difficulty with, but she'd much rather be respected than be lazy, and who knows, relaxing might leave her vulnerable! So it takes a lot of work to get to know her well enough and encourage her to chill out enough to meet her calmer, gentler, friendlier side, but it is under there somewhere--usually coaxed out by her neighbor Ashar, if by anyone. Although sometimes little hints of a far more meek attitude seem to slip through...
Her confrontational manner has made it difficult for her to make many friends, and aside from Ashar and a couple other dragons she's something of a loner, both from other dragons and from the other races of the world. She doesn't mind that too much, though, at least for now, or perhaps her tiny circle of friends is enough for her.
Anthro bio:
Adhara is a busy working professional--an interior design architect, and no, you don't want to get her started talking about work--and while that can mean a lot of stress and some long hours, she seems to do a decent job of putting it away after work. She likes to relax, to play board games (and a few video games) and read books, to have quiet chats with her friends, maybe go out for a nice meal or the occasional shopping expedition. She can be a little shy around new people, quiet in crowds, and maybe reluctant to get personal, but she's not so bad, really!
Just, uh, don't feel to concerned or offended if she seems a little distracted, or disappears for an hour or few at a time...
