Later that night...

Snow is sleeping in one of the guest rooms when he hears faint movements from downstairs, he panics grabbing the blankets and pulling them up higher, finally getting the courage to go check what it is, he gets up and goes downstairs to look around. as he gets downstairs he sees the same large black wolf, opening random doors before he sees Snow" just as I thought." he walks towards snow pulling a knife out of his jacket pocket. Snow starts to back up, backing into the kitchen counter, the wolf slashes cutting snows chest, making a shallow wound across his chest.

Snow yelps, tears flowing down his cheeks" p-please leave me alone. w-what did I do?" He growls, pushing him against the wall, one of the knifes froma rack sliding out as it falls over. "I'm not letting you slip away this time, if you won't pay us in the traditional method, then you'll have to pay in blood." Snow panics, struggling before he grabs the knife, stabbing him in the side of the neck, pulling out and stabbing a couple more times, he drops onto the floor, blooding starting to leak out onto the floor.

soon realizing what hes done, Snow looks at the body, crawling away sitting against the far wall, Flare hears the commotion, waking up and going downstairs" Snow? are you okay in there?" " he sees the body then sees him against the wall a bloody kitchen knife on the floor, seeing hes curled up in the fetal position" Snow what happened?! did he hurt you?" he cries, looking up at Flare" H-he cut my chest. i-i paniced I didn't mean to kill him! I was scared. h-he said I wouldn't pay in the tradional method w-whatever that is so I had to die."

Flare looks at the body, going upstairs and coming down with his phone" I'm gonna call Vap to come over, listen you need somebody to take care of you, so I'll go into town tomorow and get some Adoption papers or something." he calls his brother, hanging up soon after" he'll be here in about 30, maybe 40 minutes. for now, just try to calm down. okay?" he picks snow up, putting him on the couch and wrapping the blanket around him.

Vapruro drives up, walking inside, glaring at Snow" Why did you let a wolf stay in your home, you know wolves are nothing but bad news. now you have a dead body in the kitchen." Flare looks at him, sighing" Please Vapruro don't act so brash, he's scared out of his mind. he's young and this may scar him for life. and I don't care what you say, I'm going to adopt him so that I can watch over him."

Vapruro drops the body" Adopt him? you can't be serious Flare, there's a reason some dragons actively despise wolves and its becuase they can't be trusted." I whimper on the couch" P-please just give me a chance..." Vapruro shakes his head" fine, one chance. thats it. no more, no less." he brings the body out back putting it in the woods" I'll deal with the body tomorrow, I'll stay in the guest room for the night." FLare nods" then Snow will have to sleep with me." ~End chapter 3 - Snow
