It's certainly something being part of the LGBTQ+ crowd, but also being married in a committed relationship with someone of the opposite sex. Oh, and you have kids. Two of them.

And to me, that's some bullshit. Because I'm absolutely not. Every pride month comes and goes. Every occassion I try to offer words of support.

"Oh, he's an ally. He's a straight friend." Within, and yet, without. It's hard to show you're anything but another straight white dude when that's the impression folks get, and that's the view they have. There's a lot of work yet to be done within our community. And visibility is essential to that.

I'm here. I'm pan as fuck. I'm proud of it. THAT, Is Isiat. That is me. This piece was long overdue.

But goddamnit, Isiat fucking rocks them colours, and he's smug as fuck about it too. :P
