Mouth Interface V3
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
After several tries with different sensors I have now found a format that I am happy with.
This is version 3 and using some very sensitive switches from Panasonic.. These buttons have a very light activation touch and a firm tactile click when operated.
The switch in the center is a 5 way joystick and the embedded chip is a 74HC4067 (1 to 16 Analogue Multiplexer)
I'll be mounting a DFRobot Beetle Arduino on top.. however if I wanted Bluetooth I can use a RFDuino.
Total switches around edge is 11. Plus 5 on joystick. Using another microcontroller to read the output you can set up menu's, or just move individual servos to bring your costume to life.
An the great thing is - nobody can see that you controlling it.
This can also be used for people with high spinal injuries as the tongue runs of an different nerve cluster than the spine.
Enjoy.
