Oh, where to begin...
The coyote is Siphedious, obviously. He's my own creation.
The collie is Virothesciencedog, someone I've known a bit more than a year now who's become a rather dear friend.
The artist is Amorpheus, an artist whose talent speaks for itself (though I think he surpassed himself here) and who's also become a close friend. If you like this art, I would be gratified if you'd send business his way.
Once upon a time Viro and I were IMing, and he curled up at my feet, and I found it oddly adorable and had this idea that it would be cool to have Viro and Siph camped out somewhere. That became this.
Viro really likes having himself drawn as a feral, but in true coyote fashion I didn't know that at all. My rationale was that I wasn't sure how he'd feel about surprise gift art showing our characters together (our friendship is a little complicated), and a non-anthro would allow for the collie to be not-Viro if it came to that.
As it turns out, he was blown away by the art. I hope you will be too.
