Dragon Asylum by TheOwlette (Commission)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Massive, swift, powerful creatures and aggressive, confrontational attitudes are not a good combination. It's one of the reason dragons are so feared: some are friendly, but others are grouchy, territorial, and will attack anyone unfortunate enough to be nearby given the slightest provocation! They can be a serious danger to others, to the point that their actions can destabilize an entire region.
Fortunately, modern technology has granted us the means to deal with these dangerous and combative creatures--and even more importantly humane, non-lethal methods of doing so. Gone are the days of old, when dragonslayers were required; now we have tranquilizers, asylums, and therapy to tame the most wild and frightening of dragonkind.
This is Adhara; she's one of our most recently acquired patients, and we haven't had much opportunity to help her overcome her nature yet. She's still quite dangerous and refusing to engage in therapy, so that tough straitjacket will be her home for the foreseeable future. She put together quite a record of violent behavior, and the only way she's getting out of here is by learning to behave in a more civilized manner! We can be patient with her if we must; better holding her here than letting get up to who knows what mischief out in the wild, and a stay of a few years is not uncommon for her kind. There's no getting out of here, and all the time in the world to tame her...
Another commission by TheOwlette, this time with Adhara nice and cozy in a padded cell. She sure doesn't look happy now, but she'll probably get used to it after a while~ Plus she looks good in there, so it must be good for her!
