Me and Jade were being forced at gunpoint by Jason to go outside. When we went outside it turns out we're still in the base.

Me and Jade looked at each other and then Jason snarled, "Move, damn it!" Then we kept walking.

When we were in the middle of open ground in the base, Jason said, "Stop!" We both stopped. Then Jason said, "Now turn around and face us." We turned around slowly and looked at them.

Karone was smiling evilly at us, Jason had a grim expression and still had the gun pointed at us, and Amber was still crying, trying to convince them not to kill us.

I had a sad look while I was looking at her, poor Amber. Being forced into watching me die and she doesn't want me to die.

I got to figure out a way out of this, before it's too late. That's when I came up with an idea and said to Jason, "Jason, you don't need to do this."

Jason glared at me, "Why shouldn't I?"

I held out my hands at him, "Because you're better than this. What would your mother think if she knew what you were doing?"

He shouted at me, "My mother is dead, you son of a bitch! You killed my father! The only family I had left!"

Amber shouted at them, trying to get them to stop what they're doing, "Guys, please don't do this!"

Jason looked back at her, "They have to die, Amber! There's no other way."

Amber pleaded, "But it really doesn't have to be this way! If Casper really is a murderer, then call the police on him. Let him pay for killing your father."

Jason shook his head, "NO. It's too late for that. I'm doing things my way."

Jade glared at Jason, "You're crazy just like your father."

Jason pointed the gun at Jade, "Shut the hell up!!!"

I calmly said to Jason, "Ok, calm down."

Karone sighed, "Give it up Casper, it's no use. We're going to kill you guys anyway. You have been nothing but thorns in my side. I will rule these lands one day and once I do, everything will be mine."

Jade snarled, "I won't let you kill my father! Or Leon! Or anybody! Not while I'm here."

Karone just grinned at her, "And how are you going to stop me?"

I asked, "What will you guys gain from this? All of this? What do you hope to gain from this anyway?"

Jason smiled, "Satisfaction. That's what we'll gain from this."

Jason pointed the gun straight at my head, "I've been waiting for this for a long time. Time to die, asshole."

Karone smugly said, "Oh and Jade if you see your mother, tell her I said fuck you for being a bitch. Jason kill them already."

I closed my eyes tight, waiting for the shot to come. That's when I heard Jason grunt in shock. I opened them and saw that Amber attacked Jason and is trying to grab the gun. Jason shook her off of him and pointed the gun at her.

Jason snarled, "You bitch! You betrayed us!"

Karone sighed and shook her head, "I should have known you would have done this. Fine then that means you can join them."

Amber glared at her, "I was wrong about you! You were never my friend! You've used me! You...You creature!" After she said that, Jason hit her in the back of the head with the gun.

I shouted, "Amber!"

Then Jason kept the gun pointed at her and snarled, "Now get over there with them!!" Amber did as she was told and stood beside me. She grabbed my hand and held it tight.

I glared at Jason, "If you EVER hurt her again, I'm gonna-"

Jason pointed the gun at me and said, "You'll what? Kill me? You can't because I'm going to kill YOU."

Karone shook her head again, "I'm disappointed in you Amber. I thought you were like a daughter to me. But now you gone and done this to me. I really cared about you actually."

Amber shook her head, "My mother would never do this. And you're not my mother."

Karone then grinned at her, "You know, you sure act like my daughter. After all the times we talked to each other. Even how happy that you've met Casper the first time. How you told me that he was cute and all that. Trust me if he wasn't my enemy I would have let you be with him. But you know I can't let that happen."

Amber had tears in her eyes, "I'm sorry, Casper, I should have told you about her sooner. I was...Afraid you wouldn't believe me."

I looked at her and smiled, "I would have."

Amber then said, "Casper, do you remember on the day that I was talking to a meerkat? That I was talking to animals because I was alone? Well it wasn't a meerkat I was talking to."

My eyes went wide and then I looked at Karone, "Wait, it was you!? She was talking to you on that day?"

Karone smiled, "Yes. You almost caught me on that day. Luckily Amber kept you distracted before you saw me."

I exclaimed, "But I saw the meerkat!"

Karone giggled, "It was just pure luck that the meerkat was there. You see Amber here made up the story that she was talking to a meerkat to get rid of any suspicion."

Amber shook her head, "And I've made a big mistake! I hate you!"

Karone growled, "Don't push it...Human."

Jason then angrily said, "Ok, enough of this shit already. Lets kill them." Then he pointed the gun at me again.

Karone stopped him with a paw in front of him, "No hold on a sec, there's one last offer I have for them."

Jason glanced at her and then he lowered the gun.

Karone looked at Me, Jade, and Amber and said, "I'm going to give you guys one last chance. I want you to bow down to me and then I'll let you live. If you don't then you die, do I make myself clear?"

Amber just shook her head, Jade only glared at her, and I only stared at her.

Karone smiled, "Come on guys. If you bow down, then you would be my servants. You would do exactly as I say and then everything will be mine. Your family and friends will all die if they disobey and everything will still be mine." Then she let out an evil laugh.

That's when I shouted at her, "NO! NOT A CHANCE! WE WON'T LET YOU! WE'LL NEVER BOW DOWN TO YOU!!!" I breathed heavily after I said all that.

Karone glared at us with so much hatred, "Then you can die!! Kill them, Jason. NOW!"

Jason pointed the gun at me once more, getting ready to pull the trigger.

Amber held me tight, Jade was standing beside me crying, and I never took my stare off of him.

Suddenly a voice stopped Jason from firing, "Stop right there, Jason!"

Jason gasped and turned around and so did Karone and she gasped as well, she said, "Who's there?"

That's when we all saw Nick with a pistol in his hand pointed at Jason.

Amber beamed and cried out, "Dad!"

Jade beamed as well, "Nick! You're here!"

I beamed too, "Ah, it's so good to see you!"

Nick advanced towards us while he had the gun on Jason, "It's okay, guys. I'm here now." Then he pulled out another gun out of his pocket and threw it at me, "Here Casper, catch!"

I caught the gun and then I put both of my hands on the gun handle and pointed it at Karone, "Thanks Nick."

Jason snarled, "What the hell? I thought you left the base."

Nick nodded, "I did, but I called Amber and she didn't answer the phone. I had a feeling something was up and my feeling was correct."

Jason then tried to lie to Nick, "Captain listen, Casper did something bad and I was trying to stop him."

Nick shook his head, "Nice try, Jason, but it won't work. I've heard everything before you guys came outside. You were using my daughter to kill Casper. I don't tolerate it at all. Drop the gun Jason, now." Jason did and then Nick looked at Karone, "And you must be Karone."

Karone cocked her head, "Have we met before?"

He nodded, "Yes, you were the one who killed Amara years ago."

Karone then grinned, "Ah, yes I remember you. You were that human boy that poor Amara befriended with years ago. Funny I haven't seen you for a long time."

Nick tightened his grip on the gun, "I just thought I would come back here. For old times sake."

Karone rolled her eyes, "Your frend was nothing but a bitch anyways."

Nick glared at her, "I won't let you get away for saying that." And then he softened his gaze, "And you know I had a feeling that something was going on here. Casper found a mysterious note being left by someone here, then he starts to tell me about something being in the food truck a few days ago, and Amber acting weird for the past several days. You were behind it all."

Karone grinned, "You certainly figured me out. Yes, I was in the food truck that day. Casper almost found me in there, but you stopped him."

My eyes went wide. So she was the faint noise in that truck! She was hungry and must have been having food to eat. Now it all makes sense.

Nick glared at her again, "And I wish I never should have stopped him." Then he looked at me, "Casper, what do we do?"

I glared at Karone, "I think I know how to deal with them."

Karone rolled her eyes again, "If you're going to kill me, get it over with."

I shook my head, "No...I want you out of here. I want you to run, run away Karone. And never return."

Karone closed her eyes and nodded, "Of course I will."

Nick then pointed his gun at Jason, "And as for you, Corporal Rivers, you're under arrest for attempted murder."

Jason only shouted, "Fuck you!"

Amber then ran to her father and gave him a tight hug. Nick returned it.

Karone then started to walk past me and she said, "I hope this was worth it, Casper."

I glared at her, "You murdered Jade's sister and mom. You threatened me and my family. And last and not least, you even used Amber to get her to do whatever you want. I think it will be worth it. You're finished here."

Suddenly I heard Jade cry out, "Casper, look out!" When I turned around I saw that while Nick was distracted for hugging Amber, Jason had a spare gun in his pocket and pointed it at me. Before he could pull the trigger, Nick dove in the line of fire and took the bullet for me. Nick went down and he never came up.

Amber screamed, "DAD!" Then she ran away.

Karone used her paw and knocked my gun out of my hand. After she did I yelled to Jade, "Run, Jade!" Then we both did.

When we ran away, Jason fired the gun at us and missed. Fired three more shots, they all missed.

We caught up with Amber and we ran fast. We heard another shot fired at us and missed. We saw that Nicks jeep has arrived in the base and we all got in it. I put the seatbelt on and then the back window of the jeep shattered when Jason fired at us again.

I turned on the jeep and then we drove away. Jason fired a couple more shots at us, but he didn't hurt us. I drove us out through the gate and out of the base.

Amber cried and said, "Dad, I can't believe Jason shot dad."

Jade looked down with a glum look, "Nick."

I said to them, "Don't worry guys, we'll get out of this. I know we will." Then suddenly when I tried to hit the brakes to try to make a turn, they didn't work. I began to realize that Jason shot the brakes when he was firing at us. I realized I was going way to fast and yelled, 'Everybody hold on!" We all screamed when we were about to crash into a tree.

The jeep crashed headfirst and hit a tree really hard. My head hit the steering wheel real hard and I fell unconscious.

I heard the car horn ringing and when I lifted my head it finally stopped. I groaned and then I saw that Jade and Amber are still unconscious. I shook Amber who was sitting beside me, "Amber, hey wake up!"

Amber moaned and woke up and shook her head, "Wow, well that was close."

I muttered, "Too close."

Jade regained consciousness as well and said, "Is everyone alright?"

I nodded, "Still breathing."

Amber looked at the rearview mirror and her eyes went wide, "Guys, Karone and Jason are coming!"

I looked at the mirror as well and gasped, "Shit they're coming, lets go." After I said that we all piled out of the car real fast. I looked to my left and saw that Karone and Jason are getting closer. I could see that Jason raised his gun again and fired. the bullet hit the tree that was closest to me and I gasped. I yelled to Amber and Jade, "Run guys! Run!" Then we all ran away.

We ran and ran until we could see the old world war 2 hangar from where we are. I exclaimed, "Hurry guys, we can hide in there!"

We ran through the front door and wen inside the hangar. The hangar is a big place and there are a lot of hiding spots we could pick. We ran through the hangar trying to find a spot to hide. We saw a old boat with a blue tarp on top and we went to it. When we got close to it Jade smiled, "We can hide in there."

I shook my head, "No only you will. If we hide separately they won't get all of us."

Jade shook her head, "No! I don't want to be alone!"

I grabbed her shoulders, "Jade you have to protect yourself now. You going to be a mom one day, now you have to get in that boat now."

Jade started, "But Casper-"

"Right now! Please."

Jade finally relented and then I helped her get up there. I lifted the tarp for her and Jade hid under it. After she went under it me and Amber ran away from the boat to find a spot for us to hide.

Me and Amber found some lockers nearby and that gave me an idea. I opened one of the lockers and I shoved Amber inside one of them. Amber freaked out and said, "Wait, what about you?"

I assured her, "I'll be okay. Just stay there and be quiet." Then I slammed the locker door.

When I turned around and saw the front entrance of the hangar opening, I realized that Karone and Jason finally arrived.

I just hope I will be okay.

Karone and Jason already set foot in the hangar, looking for their targets. Karone then looked at Jason and said, "I'll go right, you go left." Jason nodded and then they went off in different directions.

Jason held his gun stance, while he was looking for them. Karone was being vigilant and kept being prepared. Ready to attack if necessary.

Jason looked through a lot of boxes but no Casper or his friends. He kept looking and looking.

Karone tried to smell for them, but she couldn't cause the air inside the hangar seemed dusty.

Jason was still looking for them when he suddenly heard a faint sound, he followed it and realized it was just a mouse. He sighed and kept moving.

While Karone was near the lockers, she heard something move in one of them. Then suddenly she heard someone sneeze in one of them.

Karone giggled evilly when she realized she caught one of them. Jason heard the sneeze and came to Karone. Jason then opened the locker door and found Amber.

Amber screamed. Then Jason grabbed her hair and dragged her out in the open. While he had Amber on her knees, he pointed the gun close to her forehead, "Casper!" She cried out.

Jason shouted, "I'll kill her! I'll kill her, Casper! Come out or she dies!"

No answer.

Karone said, "Hmmm, he's not cooperating."

Jason glared, "Alright, I'm giving you an ultimatum. If you don't come out in five seconds, then Amber dies. I'm going to start now, ONE!"

Amber looked at Karone with pleading eyes, "Please, don't do this."

Karone giggled evilly.

Jason said, "TWO!"

Amber tried to get away, but Jason had a good grip on her.

"THREE!"

Amber cried out, "Casper, help me!!!"

"FOUR!"

Suddenly they heard Casper call out, "Amber, close your eyes!" Then when Amber close her eyes, a flash blinded Jason and Karone. Jason let go of Amber and she ran away.

Jason rubbed his eyes, "Ahhh, my eyes!"

After I threw a flash bang grenade at them, I came out of my hiding spot, which it was a storage closet and ran past them. Jason apparently recovered his vision and saw me running, he snarled, "Get back here, you bastard!" Then he ran after me.

I heard Jason firing several shots at me and he missed me, every single time. I couldn't run anymore because there was nowhere to run, Jason put me in a corner.

I turned around and saw Jason, he pointed his gun at me and pulled the trigger. He ran out of bullets. Then when he realized that he was out of bullets, he threw the gun away. He said, "I guess the only way to settle this, is the old fashioned way." Then he raised his arms, getting ready to fight me in hand to hand combat.

I glared at him and raised my arms as well, "Bring it." Then he threw the first punch at me and connected my face.

Nick regained consciousness when someone licked his face. It was another lioness.

Nick stared at her, "Who are you?"

The lioness said, "Christa. Are you alright?"

Nick nodded and then he got up and stood on his feet. He looked at his shoulder where he has got shot by Jason, a clean shot, he was lucky, "Yeah I'm fine. Where's Casper and the others?"

Christa shook her head, "I don't know, but we have to find them."

Nick nodded, "Lets go to the hangar. They might be there."

Christa nodded as well, "Lets go save our family."

I crawled out of the tarp on the boat and jumped off the boat. I can't stay in there, Casper needs my help.

When I got out of the boat, Amber came to me and said, "Jade!"

I looked at her, "You ok?"

Amber nodded, "Sort of. Casper's in trouble, he needs your help!"

I said, "Go get out of here!" Then Amber ran past me to escape. I ran forward to find Casper.

While I was looking for him I hollered, "Casper! Where are you?!" That's when my evil aunt came in front of me.

Karone glared at me, "You can't help him now. You're mine and mine alone." Then she growled.

I got into my fighting stance and growled as well, "I will make you pay for killing my mom." Then I pounced at my aunt and started to fight her.

Jason kicked me in the gut and then slugged me in the face again. I grunted and fell to the ground. While I was on the ground I kicked Jason in the shin.

Jason cried out after I did that and then he kicked me while I was on the ground. His foot hit my ribs.

I managed to get on my feet and hit him in the face again. My fist hit his cheek and he stumbled backwards.

Jason got his footing and then he swung at me again, hitting me in the shoulder. I cried out in pain.

While Jason was starting at me, he saw a machete nearby and grabbed it. He stared menacingly at me, "You're dead." Then he advanced toward me with the machete in his hand.

Karone bit my shoulder and I swiped at her again. My paw hit her hard and she fell away from me. Karone got on her feet again and we circled around. Staring at each other. Karone sneered, "You just don't know when to quit do you?"

I shot back, "I won't quit until I die!"

Karone giggled, "Well then I'll have to kill you quick then!" Then she pounced at me again, this time pinning me down to the ground.

I shouted, "Get off!" Then I bit down her paw hard.

Karone roared and then I swiped her off of me.

*****

Nick and Christa got to the hangar and heard the commotion that's coming from the inside of the hangar.

Christa growled, "I think they're in there."

Nick said, "I knew it. We have to help them."

Christa nodded and then said, "But what?"

Nick looked around for a weapon or something and the he saw a forklift. Then he saw a propane tank that's close to the hangar.

That's when Nick came up with an idea and said to Christa, "I want you to take cover, you understand?"

Christa looked at him with a frown, "What? Why?"

Nick urged her, "Just do it!" Then Christa took cover in the trees.

Nick ran to the forklift and started it. Then he drove to the propane tank really fast and jumped out of the forklift before the forklift hit the tank.

When it did the forklift and the propane tank exploded. A big cloud of fire and smoke started covering the whole hangar.

Karone and I heard an explosion and we stopped fighting. Fire started to spread across the hangar. A bunch of debris fell from the ceiling and landed near us.

Then one of the debris landed on Karone. She cried out in pain.

I shielded my face with my paw and when the dust finally cleared, Karone was underneath the debris. Karone glared at me and angrily said, "Go ahead, kill me."

I raised my paw with my claws unsheathed, I was about to strike her down when I realized I couldn't do it. I put my paw down and glared down at her, "No, Karone. I'm not like you."

Karone shot back, "You leave me here to die then?"

I nodded, "You deserve it. I won't kill you, but you deserve to be left alone. I will leave you to the flames. Because that's where you belong, in hell!" Then I left her for dead. I ran to the front entrance of the hangar but realized that our way out way blocked by debris.

I cried out, "No!!!"

Then I turned around to look for Casper, "Casper! Casper, where are you!?"

I dodged Jason when he swung the machete at me. Narrowly missing my head. I jumped back and dodged another swing from the machete.

Jason raged, "Why won't you just FUCKING die?!" Then he drove the machete at my stomach. I dodged to my right.

After I dodged, Jason made one good kick and his foot hit me in the chest really hard. I fell on my back and looked at him with fear in my eyes. Jason standing over me, getting ready to kill me with the machete.

I shook my head, "Don't!"

He shouted, "DIE!" Then he raised the machete over his head and swung it down hard. Suddenly the blade from the machete accidentally hit a cable that was hanging from the ceiling. And when it did a lot of volts of electricity surged through Jason and it shocked him for several seconds until Jason finally electrocuted to death.

He fell over in a heap and died.

I sighed in relief and said to myself, "Well...That was...Shocking."

I heard Jade calling out to me, "Casper!"

I hollered back, "Jade!" Suddenly I saw flames spreading across the hangar. Shit we need to get out of here.

I ran to find Jade and after a few seconds I found her, Jade ran to me and we embraced each other.

I asked her, "Are you okay?"

Jade nodded, "I'm fine. You?"

I nodded, "Never better. Now lets get out of here."

Jade shook her head, "Casper, the front door's blocked! There's no way out!"

I looked around and saw a catwalk in the hangar and from right where I'm at, I could see a emergency exit door on the catwalk. I looked at Jade, "There is a way out just follow me!" Then we both ran to the catwalk.

A lot of debris fell to the ground but we dodged it. The flames getting too hot for our taste and the smoke is getting thicker. But that didn't stop us from reaching the catwalk.

We used the steps to the catwalk and we ran on it. We made it to the emergency exit and finally went outside.

Yes we made it!

Me and Jade ran down the stairs outside and we ran as far from the flames from the hangar as far as we could. Then we finally stopped and looked back to watch the whole scene.

The flames and smoke finally consumed the whole hangar, it was gone.

I sighed and then I smiled, "It's...Over."

Jade nodded and looked at me with a smile, "It's finally over." Then we both hugged each other tight.

We both heard Amber calling out to us, "Casper! Jade!" I looked away from Jade to see Amber running towards us.

I let go of Jade and ran to her, "Amber!" Then Amber gave me a hug. Jade smiled at us while we were hugging. Then we all heard Nick, "Guys!" We both turned around and saw Nick and Christa heading our way as well.

Amber beamed when she saw Nick, "Daddy!" Nick came and hugged his daughter.

Nick tearfully said, "I love you Amber! I thought I was never gong to see you again."

Amber with tears on her face said, "Me too, daddy. Me too."

Nick looked at me while he was hugging her and smiled at me, "Thank you."

Christa and Jade nuzzled each other. Jade looked at Christa and said, "It's over Christa, it's over."

Christa looked at the burning hangar, "Is it really over?"

I looked at the hangar as well, "Yeah, it's over."

Nick finally let go of his daughter and said, "Lets go home."

I nodded and then we all finally walked away from the scene.

We were all walking back to the base and then we came across a big cliff. The fall far enough to kill someone.

While we were walking, Christa cried out in pain. All of us turned around and saw that Karone somehow managed to escape from the fire and knocked Christa to the ground. Hate was all in her eyes.

Jade yelled to all of us, "Run!" Then Jade pounced at her and then at the right timing Karone hit Jade with her paw while she was flying at her. The force of the swipe knocked Jade out. Jade landed on the ground in a heap.

Amber screamed and then Nick ran to Karone. Karone swiped at Nick and knocked him to the ground.

I yelled for Amber, "Amber run!" Then I picked up a big stick and swung the big stick at Karone. The big stick hit Karone in the head hard, but that didn't stop her from swiping at me. The force of the swipe hit me so hard it even broke the stick that I was holding.

I grunted in pain when I landed hard on my back, then Karone jumped on me and pinned me to the ground.

Karone lowered her head towards mine and growled at me. I cried out, "Get off of me!"

Karone sneered, "You make me sick! You ruined me for the last time! First you took away my followers, then you killed the human that I've loved the most! And now you killed Jason as well! Well I won't let you stop me Casper! You're just a meddling human in the wrong place at the wrong time!"

I shot back at her, "Maybe I am a meddling human, but that doesn't mean I won't quit!" Karone growled again. Before she could do anything, Amber jumped on her back and grabbed ahold of her.

Karone cried out in shock and tried to get Amber off of her. I crawled away from them. Karone roared and then snarled, "Get...Off of me!" Then with her shoulder she managed to knock Amber off her back. Amber landed hard on her back.

Karone advanced toward Amber on the ground and then I ran to her, "Get away from her!"

Karone back handed me with her paw and I flew backwards towards the edge of the cliff. I rolled over the edge of the cliff. But before I completely fell over I managed to grab onto the ledge of the cliff with both hands and now I was dangling over.

I tried to pull myself up, but Karone already came to me with a smile on her face. "Ah Casper, this is pretty neat to me. Seeing you dangling over the ledge makes me remind me of something, now what was it?"

She put a claw to her face and then she beamed when she remembered, "Oh yes I remember. I was dangling at the gorge three years ago, before I fell into that water."

I was slipping and then Karone grabbed my arms, her claws digging into my arms. I cried out in pain. That's when she said, "And that's when you tried to save me! But I wanted to die with you. But now the tables have turned and only this time, you will the one to take the fall."

I screamed at her, "I won't let you get away with this! I'll never give up, NEVER!"

Karone glared at me, "Enough! Die human!" Then she worked on digging her claws deeper into my arms and tried to pry my arms off the ledge of the cliff.

I cried out again. No I won't let her kill me. But I could feel my hands being pried away from the ledge. She's getting closer to kill me.

Karone laughed evilly and then Jade came up behind her and knocked her aunt over the ledge and fell over behind me. Before she fell even further she managed to grab ahold of my leg and dug her claws into my leg. I cried out again. She was heavy my grip on the ledge was slipping further away.

Jade cried out, "Casper!" Then she grabbed my hands with both of her paws.

Karone was still dangling off of my leg, "I'm not going alone!"

When I looked down at her, I tried to kick her off of me and my foot hit her once.

Jade was trying to pull me up, but with Karone on my leg it wasn't working.

I snarled at Karone at my leg, "Get the fuck off of me!" I gave her a good kick in the face and she finally let go. Karone screamed when she fell down the big cliff. Finally her screamed died when she landed at the bottom.

I sighed when I looked down. I could hear Jade groaning and then I helped her trying to pull me up. I made it to the top of the cliff and we looked into each other eyes.

Jade had tears in her eyes, "Casper."

I smiled at her, "It's over now. It's finally over."

Jade smiled back and then she gave me a kiss on the lips. I gasped and scooted back, "Jade."

Jade's eyes went wide, "Sorry, I thought I was going to lose you."

Then I giggled and then I said, "So did I girl. So did I."

Jade smiled at me and then we both hugged each other tight. Jade crying into my shoulder. Then I saw Amber, Nick, and Christa running to me and Jade and gave us all a hug.

Then me and Amber started kissing. We proclaimed our love for one another.

Amber said, "I love you, Casper."

I said back, "I love you too." Then we kissed again.

It's over. The nightmare's finally over.

Three Months Later

Me and Leon looked down at our daughter in our cave. We both smiled at her.

I said to Leon, "Look at her, isn't she beautiful?"

Leon giggled, "Yeah, she is. She really looks like you."

Me and him nuzzled each other and then we heard Christa and my father coming into the cave to see my baby. Father looked at his grand daughter and smiled, "She's really beautiful."

I nuzzled my father, "Thanks daddy."

Christa and her daughter Suri looked at my daughter as well, they both smiled.

My father looked at me and said, "So Leon how's everything? You still want to continue training to be king today?"

Leon nodded, "Sure. I think I have plenty of time to spend with my daughter." Then he nuzzled me again.

I smiled at him, "Go on guys. I'll be fine."

Father and Leon left the cave leaving me alone with Christa and Suri. Christa giggled and asked, "Did you tell Casper yet?"

I shook my head, "No. But I'm planning on seeing him today and tell him. He'll be very happy." Then I looked down at my daughter with total happiness on my face.

Walker and Eileen looked at me and Walker said, "I think we're almost done with building the house for you, Casper."

I beamed at him, "Great, when will it be done?""

Walker smiled, "As soon as possible I'm sure, and the other marines are sure we're almost done with it as well. Well, I better get back to work, catch ya later!" Then Walker went back to work.

Eileen smiled at me and said, "I still can't believe you're actually doing this. You're going to stay here in Africa."

I giggled, "Don't worry Eileen, you and Tab and mom and dad can come over for Christmas if you want."

Eileen then gave me a hug and muttered, "I wouldn't mind it." Then she pulled away and gave me a smile. And then walked away.

I smiled when she walked away. Boy, I know I'm going to miss my home a little bit. But Africa is going to be better with Jade living here. That's when I heard Jade calling out to me, "Casper!" I turned around and saw her coming.

I smiled at her, "Jade!" Then Jade came and gave me a hug. We pulled away and I asked, "So how are things? Your dad still treating Leon with respect?"

She nodded, "Oh I wouldn't worry about it. Besides after the whole Chad thing, he trusts Leon more than ever now. Not to mention that he came over to see his grand daughter."

I beamed at her, "Wait? You mean you finally-"

Jade laughed and said, "Yep, I finally have a cub and it's a girl."

I smiled at her, "That's great."

She giggled, "Wait till you see her. She makes me feel so happy."

I grabbed her shoulders, "I'm very happy for you." Then me and her sat down on a rock together. Just staring out at the savannah.

Jade sighed and said, "You know Casper. Things are really starting to change for us. I mean, I'm finally a mother now. Leon and I are going to be king and queen soon. And now..." She looked at me and said, "You are going to stay here with me as my friend forever."

I smiled at her, "I wouldn't miss this for the world. In fact, I think I'm going to love staying here."

She grinned at me, "Well, you won't be staying here alone. You'll be having Amber stay with you as well. Maybe Nick too if he wants."

I put my arm around her, "Things are going to be perfect from now on. Nothing will ever hurt you again."

She nuzzled me and said, "Casper."

I looked at her, "Yeah?"

She gave me a lick on the cheek, "I love you, best friend."

I smiled at her, "I love you too." Then I petted her nose and we just sat there.

I saw Amber and her father Nick come to us with smiles and Amber gave me a kiss on the lips and we all just sat there. Nick sitting by Jade and Amber sitting by me. I wrapped my arm around her.

My life will change for the better. Our lives will change for the better. I finally found where I belong, and it's here. And I know for certain, I will never leave Jade again.

I looked at Amber. And Amber, she always will be my girl. No matter what we do, we will always be together as well. Of course I don't know what the future holds, but in time maybe I'll know.

I smiled to myself when I remembered the first meeting I had with Jade three years ago. If it wasn't for that meeting, I wouldn't be here right now. I stared out at the savannah.

And after three years, Jade is still the Heart of Africa. Now since I'm here forever, I will be the Heat of Africa as well. Amber will be as well.

After all three hearts are better than one.
