Blóm Dómgreind is a meek woman, and was teased in school for being plump. She never even attempted to stand up for herself- even though her father is the Justicar, and if he found out she was being picked on; heads would roll. Since she is a pig, she assumed it was just in her nature and she would always be looked down on.

Terastios Granidine is heir to the Star Bed mining company- and his bitter father Tectonis made him work for his position and the deep wealth he would inherit. Terastios met those expectations and then some- but at the cost of resentment for his old man. Terastios is a good leader and a fair man- though has a bit of a temper and doesn't put up with slackers.

When Terastios found Blóm, he immediately shielded her from the taunts of others. He is a grizzly bear- no one is going to say shit while he is there, he could pop their skull like a grape. Terastios has always had wealth but never anything worth spending it on. Lots of power but no worthy cause to put it towards. He found his answer in Blóm. He pampers her, always showering her in gifts and doing his best to boost her paper-thin confidence in herself. They got married almost immediately after they graduated high school so now she is the wealthy Lady Blóm Granidine.
