Captured Dragon by TheOwlette (Commission)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Stupid humans and their tricks.
Hueroc growled and yanked back against the reins, but the stout post they were hitched to held firm, and didn't even begin to creak before the bit dug into his gums too sharply for him to keep pulling. His tail lashed in frustration. He was a dragon! Humans weren't supposed to be able to contain him like this!
And yet there he was. After humans settling on his territory had refused to be driven away, his predations on their livestock had brought a swarm of the little pests up to his cave, where he had been ambushed and captured. Mitts and cuffs went over all his paws, with chains linking them to keep him hobbled, his great wide wings were pinioned, and a bridle was fixed over his jaws, trapping him in their custody, unable to escape--and a belt around his hindquarters to cover his groin, something about keeping him 'decent.' They had even put locks on everything to be doubly sure he couldn't escape, as if he had any hope of opening the cuffs without the use of his claws or teeth...
Then they had led him down the mountain, through the fields he'd burned, past the houses he had roared at so threateningly. People had come out to see him brought low, cheered for the soldiers escorting their massive, furious prisoner, pointed at the big bound dragon who could terrorize them no more. No amount of bared teeth or muffled snarls had scared them, and the farther they led him the bigger the crowds became, as the houses grew closer together, the land more populated, and at last they reached the town from which the soldiers had come.
None of the forced march could have prepared him for the parade they led him on there. On through town they led him, a full team of horses pulling his reins to keep him moving, men with ropes and spears flanking him on either side to protect the people if he dared turn from their course. The men received cheers, while he was met with howls of displeasure, mocking catcalls and taunts that he wasn't so frightening any more... He shuddered with rage, but his escort kept him in line, the hobbles and the bridle keeping his natural weapons at bay.
The march concluded at a massive square at the center of town, where he'd been tied to the stake and left there. The guards had kept the crowds back a safe distance until it dispersed... and then once it seemed the people knew to stay back, all but a few of them had gone away. There he was, leashed to that stupid log, trapped in those stupid restraints, with no way out!
Tail lashing, nostrils flared, he continued to tug this way and that against the reins, hoping he might be able to worry them loose, but the knots around the post were tight and resisted his efforts. When he tried to push at it with a leather-wrapped, useless forepaw the guard pushed him away with the butt of a spear, and though he lowered his head and bared his teeth and snarled the man didn't even flinch. Curse the bridle and chains for making his threats so meaningless! Snorting, tossing his head, he pushed the mitt against his other wrist instead, equally fruitless: he had no hope of opening the lock or the buckle, not withing his claws, not without the key to open that heavy padlock in the first place!
Hueroc's efforts prompted little more than a few laughs and taunts.
"Not getting out of this one, dragon!"
"You don't scare us anymore!"
"Just wait until Lord's through with you!"
The last one drew the loudest growl he could manage. The human lord who ruled the town had not been secretive about his plans for his newly captured dragon: he meant to defeat him, tame him, and put him to work as punishment for having attacked and stolen from his people. Of course Hueroc didn't mean to let him, didn't intend to cooperate in the slightest, and would never give in! But there was that troublesome little problem that he couldn't find a way to get away from him, either...
He pulled against the cuffs, the chains snapping taut but no farther, their heavy links too strong for him to break. There had to be a way... he had to find a way... he wouldn't let them win! He was a dragon; they were only humans, who had dared try to settle on his territory, and he would make them pay for this! Just as soon as he found a way out... Somehow...
Rearing, he threw his weight against the reins again, ignoring the pain of the bit for as long as he could, but still they wouldn't give. He couldn't stay there, he couldn't let them tame him, he couldn't get out!

This is a commission done by TheOwlette! It turned out super awesome too <3 Look at that detailed bondage, so heavy and secure! No way Hueroc's getting out of this one. It really came out great :D
I'll add a link when she posts it to her gallery!
