Kung-Fu-Dwarf Issue 1 Page 3
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Back in math class in 1988, I had too much free time and scratch paper. This volatile combination resulted in the creation Kung-Fu-Dwarf. Originally, he was just in the margins of notes doing ridiculous things like beating up whatever amusing object or stick figure I came up with in my boredom.
But eventually, I decided to make a comic book with the character to make fun of the comics cliches and tropes I was used to reading. If memory serves, paper quality and digital art was still developing into what it is today, but we did have the hot artists doing splash pages and absolutely, the horrible comic book cliches were well established.
I recently re-located the pages of that first issue and the pencils of as far as I got into the second issue before it got set aside for other ways to abuse my creativity. I wanted to share them with folks who might find them amusing. Now, the thing is, it's not really a furry comic. Yes, there is a dragon that appears on this page and two others. But that's really it as far as Issue on and what I have done so far for 2.
Since I read the AUP and see that the whole comic does not fit well within what is allowed, I'm only posting the pages where the dragon makes an appearance. The whole book is appearing over on FA since they AUP allows a little more wiggle room for non-furry submissions. I've got those submissions rated as "Mature" simply because of cartoon violence. Might be a slightly excessive rating over there, but again I'm trying to follow the given definitions on each sight. The pages I'm posting here and the definition of the ratings means the three I post here will all be general.
I'm posting the few pages here on the same day (aiming for Mondays) as they get posted over on FA, so other than the time it takes me to post them, they'll be somewhat close to simultaneously posted.
If you want to read from the start, go to HERE
The lettering has been redone, which included filling in the boxes and speech balloons with crisp white pixels. In doing so, I have made an occasional tweak to clean up the dialog grammatically, but by and large, it is untouched from the original.
