“Ha! Got your nose, Chrys. Whatcha gonna do about it?” Shay was being a little gremlin again. The snep had a habit of thrill-seeking and picking fights she couldn’t win, even when that meant going up against critters ten or more times her size. With her forepaws on the lizard’s snout and claws bared, she shot the lizard a defiant, toothy grin.
Chrys just smiled at the silly lil snow leopard. The lizard had laid belly-first on the ground to get to eye-level with the micro-sized mammal. She knew that Shay couldn’t do anything to hurt her, but it was cute that she was trying! Her copper eyes locked with Shay’s blue ones, but this was hardly a tense standoff. It was just harmless fun on a lazy afternoon.
In retaliation for the ‘attack’, Chrys exhaled sharply through her nostrils. The gust of air hit Shay in the chest and messed up her hair, to which the lizard giggled quietly at the sight. Shay growled and batted both her paws on her opponent’s nose again to prove she wasn’t scared of that. And why should she be scared? That lazy lizard wasn’t gonna mess with someone fierce as her!
