\n Well here's chapter Seven. Just a little conclusion of the last chapter and a better view of how unstable Shadow's (Rrahkarr's) mind truly is, oh and they get a little message from Dead Eye. After the next chapter time will jump every so often while Shadow works with some of the other Freelancers in the Fleet of Cardinal Sins on different missions.

\n Rrahkarr awoke suddenly; gasping for air with his heart pounding away in his chest. He moved his arm and put his hand to his chest and felt something yanking at his fur. He looked down and noticed he was covered in dried blood. Still panting he looked around and noticed he was in his room onboard the Ira, he wondered how he got here but got up and hurried into the bathroom and quickly took off the clothes he was wearing and jumped into the shower.

\n He turned on the hot water and let it soak his fur. He closed his eyes as the hot steaming water rinsed down his fur. He put his arm against the wall and looked down to the floor of the shower. He watched as blood rinsed from his fur flowed and mixed with the water as it traveled to the center and go down the drain into the Ira's purifier.

\n While he leaned against the wall memories from when Severo took over after he killed the Outcasts, and tried to kill Maya, then when Murazar saved Maya from him. He let out a sigh and reached over and grabbed a bottle of fur shampoo and began cleaning himself. He washed three times before he felt like all the blood was gone.

\n After he got out of the shower and dried off, he went and got some clothes on; his usual black pants and shirt. He sat down on his bed and looked out the window in his room and noticed that the Ira was still orbiting Earth. He decided to go to the bridge, and maybe find Murazar on the way.

\n When he exited his room the voice that was usually always cheerful and happy was sad and worried when she said "Boss...are you alright?"

\n "I'm fine Nerah." Rrahkarr said as he walked towards the bridge.

\n "That's a relief...I suppose I should tell you that your guests are all on the bridge with Freelancer Delta." Nerah said to his surprise.

\n He blinked a couple times and asked "...What guests?!"

\n Rrahkarr just reached the bridge and opened the door when he heard someone saying "Thank you for this Delta."

\n He looked around the corner as Delta said "Tomorrow you three will be beamed down to an area where no one will see you and you can work out the details of your passage."

\n When he saw who Delta was talking to his jaw dropped in surprise, Delta had brought Ada and David onboard...he didn't see Maya there and let out a sigh and walked into view.

\n "You ok there Rrahkarr?" Delta said as Ada and David turned around.

\n "Yeah...I'm ok." He said but looked down at the floor rather then in their eyes.

\n Ada walked up to him, being that she was only a little over five feet tall she was able to look right into his eyes. He saw that she looked worried about him but he looked away from her. He felt like it was his fault that Maya was hurt even though he wasn't in control of himself.

\n She put her paw up to the side of his face and made him look at her as she said "Don't blame yourself for what happened...Delta told us of your...split, personality. We know it wasn't you, and even Maya could tell that it wasn't you who was attacking her."

\n "But it is my fault...I got carried away while killing those...people." He told her.

\n "Rrahkarr..." someone said from behind him.

\n He turned around and saw Maya standing in the doorway looking at him. He could tell her throat was hurt from the way her voice sounded and that made him feel even worse. He couldn't look her in the eye as she spoke to him.

\n "...um, are...are you ok?" she asked.

\n "...Yeah, I'm ok. I-I'm sorry Maya." He said to her.

\n "There's no need to apologies, I know it wasn't you who attacked me..." She was saying as she walked closer to him.

\n "But it...it's my fault you got hurt." He said and walked past her then stopped at the door, there everyone could see the change in him as he said "I can feel him...he's trying to get control and hurt you again...this is the last time you'll see me. I don't want you to get hurt again." Shadow finished and walked off the bridge while the others protested.

\n He followed the all too familiar path down to engineering. Once there he opened his secret room and locked the door behind him.

\n The room was the same as any other on the ship; gray metallic walls with conduits and vents near the ceiling. The one main difference in the room was the large workbench on the far side of the room. It had several large pieces of equipment laying on it that looked like pieces of a weapon of some sort that Shadow walked up to.

\n It had a magnetic accelerator on it that resembled the electro magnetic accelerator on the Ira's Rail Gun; only drastically smaller, and resembled more of a barrel then the three electro magnets on the Rail Gun. There were also pieces of an energy rifle and plasma rifle on the bench as well. The accelerator was attached to what looked like the forestock of the energy rifle along with its micro fusion pack, and that was connected to the plasma rifles coil pack which also connected into the end of the barrel.

\n The trigger was not yet attached as well as the power source, focusing lenses, and what may have been the stock and butt of the weapon. Shadow sighed and sat down and began putting the rest of the weapon together.

\n Shadow spent another eight hours in that room as he assembled this unique weapon. After a year and a half of searching for the correct parts and pieces he needed, and another half a year building it he had it completed. But now came the problem of drowning out the voices in his head.

\n Building this gun was what he did to drown out the voices of all those he had killed and most of all suppress Severo. He took a couple deep breaths and let out a deep sigh. He looked over to the clock that was in the room and it read 3:47 A.M.

\n "I guess I should try and get some sleep..." Shadow said as he got up and exited the room.

\n A few minuets later he was walking down the corridor towards his room when he passed by the rooms that Ada, David and Maya where in. He passed by Ada and David's room and was about to pass Maya's room when he heard crying. He stopped right outside the door and could hear Maya talking...maybe praying.

\n "Why did this have to happen? I haven't been able to see him in ten years and now I won't be able to see him again?" She said as she cried.

\n Shadow felt pain in his chest as she said this. He was thinking of going in there and talking to her but then the voices came.

\n "Murderer!"

\n "Bastard!"

\n "No don't!"

\n "(Screams)"

\n "NO!"

\n "Killer!"

\n Shadow put his paws over his ears and closed his eyes and tried to think of something but the voices wouldn't stop.

\n "We know what you've done."

\n "There's no escaping what you are."

\n "Demon."

\n "Your time's running out...soon it'll be my turn."

\n Shadow quickly opened his eyes once the last voice; which was Severo, said that. Shadow hastened down the hall to a turbo lift that went up to the top level of the Ira. There was no one living on this level and there he yelled as loud as he could. He than sank to his knees and fell foreword onto his paws.

\n He then slammed his head down onto the floor several times. The voices kept yelling at him and he slammed his head again onto the floor. He began seeing the faces of everyone he killed; targets, innocents, woman and children...and the he hallucinated seeing another black furred wolf in front of him only he had glowing blue eyes.

\n "Oh Shadow, Shadow, Shadow...look at your self. Look at what you've been reduced to doing." Severo said and laughed.

\n Blood was running down Shadows forehead from how many times he slammed his head into the ground. It ran down between his eyes and split down both sides of his muzzle. He sat back up onto his knees and stared at where he saw Severo.

\n "F-Fuck you...I swear I'll find a way to get rid of you somehow."

\n "Look at your self...you're crazy. I'm just a figment of your imagination, think about it. You hear voices, you hallucinate, and you're talking to your self." Severo said and laughed.

\n "Fucking bastard!" Shadow yelled and charged at Severo.

\n He passed right through him and slammed into the door to a vacant room where he was knocked unconscious.

\n Shadow regained consciousness the next day in his room. His head hurt, and he found a bandage wrapped around his head. He remembered the voices he heard and slamming his head into the ground.

\n "Man...I must have been off my rocker last night." Shadow said to himself as he rubbed his head.

\n He got up and walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. There was a small red stain in the center of the bandage; he then looked down from the bandage into his eyes, those strange eyes that reflected everything they saw. Shadow looked away and headed out of the room.

\n When he stepped out Nerah said "How's your head boss?"

\n "It's ok. Who bandaged me and brought me into my room?" Shadow asked.

\n "Well I was running some diagnostic cheeks, Maya heard yelling coming from this floor and found you bleeding from your head. She alerted me and I notified Delta who carried you into your room. Maya was the one who bandaged your head boss." Nerah told him.

\n He sighed then said "Where are they now?"

\n "Delta just had them beamed down to the surface."

\n "Good...now it's time I asked him why he brought them aboard in the first place." Shadow said and started walking down the hall.

\n "Boss...the reason why they were on board was because your family home was burnt down. That hastened their departure date to be colonists. Delta beamed them down close to the colonist registration building." Nerah told him which made him stop.

\n "I'd almost forgotten that they were going to do that...what happened to the manor?"

\n "After your fight with the Outcasts...fires spread and reached it...everything was destroyed including several acres of forest on the property."

\n "Well I can always rebuild...but that won't be for a long time." Shadow said and headed towards the bridge.

\n ****************

\n "I'm sorry Delta...I couldn't follow em'" said a raccoon on the display screen as Shadow entered the bridge.

\n Delta let out a sigh as Shadow said "What up?"

\n "About time you got up...Dead Eye lost track of that transport." Delta said.

\n "I didn't lose em' I said I couldn't follow em'. They knew I was trailing them the whole time." Dead Eye said.

\n "Why couldn't you follow them?" Shadow asked.

\n "Because of what they docked with."

\n "And what would that be...we need more information Dead Eye." Delta said.

\n "A fucking giant ass ship at least half the size of Inner fuckin Haven that's what! And they nearly killed me...they fired one shot that was as wide as the Gula!" Dead Eye yelled.

\n Both Shadow and even Delta were surprised to hear that. "H-half the size of Inner Haven? I may basically be immortal but that's fucking impossible!" Delta said.

\n "Well then this will really blow your pants off...right on the side of the ship was a large Electus emblem. I think that's why we can never find their base...it's on a fucking giant ass ship." Dead Eye said.

\n "Did you collect any info on it or from it?" Shadow asked.

\n "Yeah I got a single picture with my onboard camera before they fried at me and jumped into hyperspace...but I can't send it because my communications array was damaged a little...I'm lucky I can talk with you right now." Dead Eye said.

\n "Can you track the ship?" Shadow asked.

\n "I tried but I couldn't even get a lock on that ship when it was sitting right in front of me." Dead Eye said.

\n Delta sighed then said "Then we're going to have to discuss some things...see if you can get in contact with Blade and Lure. We'll try to contact Ace and Falsch, tell them to all meet at Inner Haven..."
