BACKGROUND:
Michael Clarke, ah, what is there to say about him?  He was born in Salt Lake City to two ork parents the middle of 10 children.  While his brothers and sisters had to live through the tough life, Michael found out early on that a silvered, honey tongue can charm the birds from the trees.

Mike has a way with words.  He seems to know all the right things to say, the right things to get past security guards, and the right words to say to get someone in bed with him.  This, he says, is his most important talent that manifested while he was in the second grade.  While he never charmed his mother or his father, he looked so innocent and cute, that he charmed even Elves.  While the elves insulted his family, he turned on the charm.

His charming skills are highly unusual, for an ork.  In eighth grade, he charmed an elf girl to do something really private to him.  In ninth grade, he charmed a dwarf maid to serve him and his family four extra large pizzas, with the last at no charge.  In 10th Grade, he charmed himself out of being suspended from school after being implicated in a fight between three trolls.  This was untrue, he used his skills of charm to stop the fight.  After graduation, he felt that his skills at conning and negotiating should have some use and he tried to get a job at a corporation.  His childhood friend, Robert Deckard, suggested that he either go into politics, or work for the police department. 

Well, if there were ever a friend that took him at face value and was true to the end, there was Robert Deckard.  An insular boy, the two grew up next door to each other.  While Robert studied and was budding in mysticism and knowledge, Mike was practicing his charm.  The two would often protect each other: Robert would help Mike with his school work, while Mike would protect Robert and himself from bullies.  And Mike would charm themselves out of being bullied -- as Robert tended to tell others like it is and never was diplomatic.

As the two grew up, Mike developed a fascination with Robert that budded into erotic love.  One time, he asked Robert about being in love with another boy, and Robert simply said it's not right because of the consequences associated with boy love.  Then Robert told him all of the documented statistics associated with homosexuality.  Mike was a little shocked that Robert didn't share his love in the same way, and his erotic feelings for Robert developed into Agape love. 

During the year of the comet, however, it was a trying time.  A mana storm over the city caused a high incidence of mana levels that exceeded the low mana ebb over the city.  As a result, magical crime came at a all time high, and several terrorist groups practicing many different types of magic rampaged through the city.  After the year was out, about 5,000 citizens experienced the SURGE and became various forms of changelings. This happened to two of his students: one grew wild colored, natural hair (violet with green stripes), while another by the name of James Kinson became a Nekojin (Japanese cat-boy).  Mike lost his virginity to James while swimming in his private pool.   Five years after the Year of the Comet, Robert entered Brigham Young University when Mike entered the Police Academy.

While in the Errant Knight Police Academy, studying for the police, Mike spent a lot of time at Country clubs, enjoying himself.  He used his charm to get him the best food, the best wine, and the finest dining in Salt Lake City.  He also learned the Code of Bushido, and incorporated the code of standard into his own.  He also found his way into the beds of other students to cool his need for companionship.

Mike could never form permanent attachments with others, and threw himself as an Undercover Cop and Negotiator in his work.  Mike was present at Robert's graduation when Robert Deckard graduated with his Master's degree in Applied Quantum Physics.  It was after this, with a desire to be with his deepest, truest friend, that Mike underwent Leonization so he can spend more time with him in the flesh.

The two roomed together, and while Mike loved Robert, he loved Robert so much that he kept his relationship purely chaste for as long as they will room together.  Both have an upscale apartment, and while Robert worked in a physics lab, Mike worked for the Salt Lake City police department as an Undercover Cop in some of the Corporations.

However, the dynamics between them took on a new dimention when Robert bought the Changeling during the Undercover sting operation and saved Franz from Isamu Mishimoto.  When Robert went down, Mike opened fire and left a nasty scar on Isamu's face -- an act which the Yakuza gangster has dedicated himself to repay, someday.  He saved Robert, who was unconscious and bleeding; Franz, and Silvara; and quickly sped them away to a private hospital and worked his charm to subsume their lives into the Shadows.

APPEARANCE
Your typical looking orc.  Large tusks, white skin, brown eyes (he looks like the Hacker in SR4A, almost).  He has no skin lesions, and his skin is perfect.  He looks younger for his age, even before the Leonization.  His tusks are large and reach almost to his nose.  He also has a stronger physique, but what he can make up for looks comes with his overflowing personable personality.  His hair, however, isn't oily or uncontrolable, and he usually has it styled short and wavy.

STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE
Mike loves to dress to the nines.  He owns three suits by Tres Chic, and wears the best in casual and urban wear. He enjoys pleated slacks, and they are typically AR-active.  He typically wears a black fedora, with a dark blue shirt, dark blue pleated slacks, a red neck tie, and dark blue dress shoes.
