Lovers, bound by soul
Needing each other just to be whole.
Mated for life,
They are man and wife.
Unbreakable bond
And always be fond.
And to the bed of marriage
They’ll be taken by carriage.
Child of innocence sweet,
Carefully learns use of feet.
Quickly growth sets in,
Giving strength from within.
Parents waiting by and by,
On their son they’ll never need spy.
Of course, there are bumps along the path,
Sometimes calling the parents' wrath.
But, all in all and through and through,
They'll see their child's dreams come true.
Marriage
Not sure what really made me write this, although I have a strong conviction that it has something to do with the fact that my dad got remarried this past summer.
