Upon closer inspection of the individual parts of my burnt rig, the entire contents appear damaged or destroyed. What few parts work currently will likely die of heat corrosion (Spinning platter drives, I'm looking at you!) or from solder flex. Sadly, the drives are all unresponsive on my USB SATA drive connector. I suspect a total loss.

My laptop drive contained a fourty-eightHourOld backup of my writing, thankfully. I had the next chapter of DaE completed on the SSD in the photo here, but with any luck I'll be able to retain the half chapter that was lost in my memory long enough to transcribe it. Still, it's looking like a two week wait for my insurance to give me a check. I'm working on obtaining an early sum of cash to rebuild my PC though since it's my livelihood.

I'll update you guys on the details when I can. My cellular radio finally succumbed to the heat damage, but I also got my Internet repaired today. I can't guarantee the rest of the phone will hold out though. Fingers crossed, fluffwads.
