This is something I've been wanting to do for a while and commissioned the awesome https://www.furaffinity.net/user/mgferret/ to do this for me.

Back in the day on alt.lifestyle.furry usenet group, there was a bunch of us that role-played with stories about furs in space, everyone had their own idea of what that was like and we all had fun back in the day. It was a way to get to know our fursonas better, exploring many aspects both internally and externally as we improved ourselves by exploration, companionship and by having fun.

As such, more explanation is needed. This story is not part of the main canon universe that was set out decades ago by the group, this is an alternative universe where my character still lives but is under the command of another ship entirely. Different enemies, different factions. But mostly in a universe that gives me more freedom to create stories without stepping on the other creator paws as they continue to do their own thing on the main timeline.

So on that, this will be posted once every Friday for the next four weeks as I could only afford four pages and I don't think as much as she is awesome, would've wanted to do more pages than that as she has to do her awesome comic she makes. (No, really check it out, buy the comic book and all, it's so worth it.)

So enjoy the prologue, think of this as a pre set of scenes you would see before opening credits on a star trek show.
