Like everyone in Terio Carn, she was born a human, and her original name is Nieve(which means snow anyway). She was an orphan from the start, and never knew either of her parents. Nieve was also never adopted, so when she was released into the outside world it was with minimal education and no family name or reputation to get her a proper job. Everyone in Terio Carn gains animal traits based on personality alone- so all adults are half of at least one other animal- Nieve became an arctic fox anthro. She dumped her original name for Snow to distance herself from her past and attempted to build a new future by stealing what she needed. Turns out- Snow is very good at stealing, so she ended up stealing for others as well.

Fast forward another many years and she has yet another name for herself- Summer, the legendary thief. Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, Snow tries to help those who were never given a chance to help themselves- like she had been when she was little. The upper class in High Basin is looking to expand however- using their overflowing wealth to demolish the lower class to build more industrial buildings and expand the middle class in an effort to sweep the lower class ruffians out of the empire entirely. Snow of course has no intention of taking this sitting down.

This card represents the evolution of her identity. The regular human girl, abandoned without any allies, then the feral fox represents her deciding that she will do whatever it takes to survive; even if she must become a thief and make a 'villain' of herself. Then finally her true form as an anthro fox represents the two sides finding equilibrium; she doesn't have to be evil to survive, she can be a noble thief and help others. The mark in the middle and last segment is Carnic script for the letter G; representing gold/money. And yes, that bit of pink is her panties. Normally her clothing has a hole to allow her tail through but for the sake of a saucier pose, she doesn't in this.
