Unwinding
Title can't be empty.

I could've done anything, and I went with the beginning of the chapter. The protagonist takes a bath at the end of the day and uses that moment to think. The reason for the colours is the firelight and even though I don't mention it, I imagine the walls being green. Also, I always see only one way of green and black making a good combination. The pattern on the tub was improvised. I could've made it grey, but that didn't occur to me. The pattern is black because of the shadows.
I did three practice sketches before making it final. My first drawing of the year was really completed on the afternoon of 17 Jan 2019. Eating a sandwich, drinking coffee, and listening to Epica: The Divine Conspiracy (in Simone's honour as that day was her birthday): a drew the figure and tub with pencil, most of which I erased in the colouring process, inked with a pen, and coloured with pencil crayons and markers. I spent (maybe) 65 minutes, start-to-finish.
