KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

\n This is something for creative writing. The assignment is to start every sentence with the next letter of the alphabet. It was done in like, seven minutes today. I know it'd different, but I really liked it and wanted to show you guys.

\n

\n

\n

\n At long last my goal is achieved.

\n

\n But do I still want it?

\n

\n Certainly, I think, how could I not?

\n

\n Dost thou wish to return to emptiness?

\n

\n Even in the back of my mind, I know.

\n

\n For how could I deny it any longer?

\n

\n "Gay," they'd call me, not knowing its truth.

\n

\n Her breath chills me.

\n

\n "I hate you," she says.

\n

\n Juggling emotions, I debate comforting her or being cold.

\n

\n "Kevin," I tell her before she can ask.

\n

\n Leaving in a huff, I know I've lost a friend.

\n

\n My best friend, gone.

\n

\n Now what?

\n

\n Openly, I go to Kevin.

\n

\n "Please go out with me," I beg.

\n

\n Quickly, he kisses me, his canine tail wagging.

\n

\n "Really thought you'd never ask," said Kevin.

\n

\n Silently I take his hand.

\n

\n "This is what I want."

\n

\n Undeniable now, I was homosexual.

\n

\n Veins work overtime as my heart races.

\n

\n We walk, hand in hand, down the hall.

\n

\n Xenophobes stare.

\n

\n You couldn't deny it anymore.

\n

\n "Zach and Kevin are going out." They whisper.
