Axel is a bit of an oddity when you stop and take a look him from up close. A mix of a canine and a dragon, which still seems to be somewhat uncommon. He is built to work hard, muscles well toned from a mix of odd jobs and working out in his free time. The dragonwolf seems to be indifferent to the looks he would get over his appearance, his body mostly covered in scales with some patches of fur over his back and chest, wolfish head giving away his mixed parentage along with the seemingly always perked up ears that rest alongside the short horns swept back from the top of his skull. Snow white scales and crimson eyes giving him the appearance of being much more aggressive and angry than he actually is, never really quick to lose his temper without ample badgering and provocation thanks to his canine heritage. In fact, this canine half makes him a rather friendly fellow, about as much non-dragon as one could possibly get, considering how the stereotypical dragon is pictured: Arrogant, egocentric, greedy and unwilling to welcome anyone even remotedly close without threatening to shred them to pieces.
It's not known if he is able to breathe out fire, but there's little reason to test that out. Though he might be able to be convinced to do so in order to speed up a BBQ, one can never tell.
He tends to be also rather selective when it comes to friends. He's by no means a real hermit, but he demands a certain capability of speaking and writing. Be able to express yourself with more than one word. He's a dragon after all, even he has some pride in his bones. Speaking of pride (no, not what you think, you perv!), he's also very educated and gentleman-ly. He really somewhat combines the good aspects of dogs and dragons and that makes him a nice friend. But that also makes him a little dangerous to anger. Even though, as mentioned before, it's hard to set him off, doing so will mean a lot of pain and a really unnice time.

Rough figures:
Age: 24~
Height (at the tip of the horns): 6'4"
Weight: 250lb
Build: Toned, yet comfy and very soft to cuddle up against.
Outfit: Whatever is comfortable at the time. Almost always going to be in loose/baggy clothes.
His fingers are very agile, more so due to his draconic half, and hence he's a little more dexterious than your average canine hybrid. The tail is flexible and has a variety of uses. It can be used for holding smaller objects up to almost anything, as long as it doesn't put too much weight on the tail. His fur is usually very well-kept, unless it's been a really stressful night of working the later shifts or stuff like that. It's usually quite smooth to the touch and yet surprisingly sturdy and thick enough to let a paw burry in it and get a hold, if need be. The voice is not very draconic, missing the slithering, hissing part and the dragged-out s. instead, he has a very calming, clear voice, albeit he still makes the same mistakes we all do when we're overly excited or nervous or cold.
