[font=times]Hey all! I decided to something a little different and write a story to address a problem that every writer faces. We all at some point feel that crippling fear of showing our work to others or just getting something written because we fear it's not good enough. There's always another sentence, paragraph, or plot point that needs refining. Characters need more fleshing out. Scenes need more/better descriptions.
So I wrote something to address that. At the end of the day, a story is just words on paper and that should be the first focus when you struggle writing. We all want the story to be good, for people to enjoy it, and to come back for more. You wind up focusing so much on making the story "good" that writing it stops being enjoyable and it winds up going unfinished because "it's not good enough."
The first step to writing a story is to put words on paper. The rest can come later.
