Refliction: Finalized
Walking around in the dark, I saw that I was lost. There was nowhere else to turn to. I frowned, thinking about giving up and go back to where I came from. But when I did, I saw nothing. All the halls were of the same making it impossible to tell which of the ones I've gone through. Desperate, I slowly began to panic and rushed down each hall that I could find. Turning about and running down the halls with short breaths left upon my mouth. Thus I stopped and truly looking about, I saw that I had no idea where I was anymore. The lights were dimmed down, it was impossible to see anything around here at all. Whimpering and afraid of the dark, I heard something in the distance. I meow for help, but nothing came except for more sounds.
Thinking that I had attracted some enemies, I turned tail and ran. Not even caring as to where I went or gone into for all I had wanted was to escape from here. I ran further down the halls and turned when I reached the end of it. Noticing a door that was lit in front of me, I began to run towards it without knowing what was behind me and grabbed opened the door. Entering inside, I found myself in another lit room. A television stood before me, but all it shows was static. Nothing came on. Around me were school supplies and an infinite supply of battery. All stored on the shelves scattered around the single room. I was marveled, surprised even to see this as I began to scan my eyes around while walking onward ahead. Passing through many shelves, the light turned off behind me. Sending the entire place to darkness, I began to feel afraid as the dark embraced me like a father.
I waited for a few seconds, waiting for something to happen. Like a noise, but I've waited long enough and nothing came. Except for the static that came from the television moments later, it snapped me into focus and I glanced away from the television spotting lights on the other side of the halls. I began to follow them hoping that they'll lead me into something. The further I had gone, the eerier the place had become. In a matter of seconds, I've heard many banging and moaning sounds that filled the airless room and it made me more afraid of the dark. I was shaken in fear, my eyes widen as my unknown breath began to breath more rapidly than before. Preparing to run, I gripped my paws and closed my eyes opening them before resuming onward ahead constantly glancing around to see anything that may catch my attention.
Apparently, there was one, an old rusty metal door that was exposed to the air. It began to composed itself visibly showing those brown circles and other shapes. The doorknob was broken leaving a huge gap inside of where it once was. I approached it, curiosity lingered upon my head as I reached out towards the hole and pulled along with it which began to open the door. With the door creaking, I gathered up my courage and went inside where the door began to slammed itself locking magically preventing me from exiting. Startled, I yipped and began to run towards the locked door. Clawing along the gap hoping to open it, it was proven useless. I was stuck inside for who knows how long. Afraid, I glanced back spotting an empty chair and fourteen screens or more. An empty drink sits next to the keyboard as I waltz my way towards it and hopped onto the chair.
Looking upward, I gasped shockingly and realized that we were being monitored. All of the fourteen screens yield the past and current recordings of what happened in the school as well as the soccer field moments before. I lowered my eyes down to the keyboard and began pressing random buttons, keeping a mental note of- I accidentally pressed something that I was not supposed to at all. I glared at the words above of the switch and began to read it to myself, "Lights." I blinked cocking my head wondering what that meant. But to answer to my curiosity, all of the lights came on. Even the schoolyards and everything. I saw many kittens and cats cheering in celebration. As their paws threw up into the air in glee, happy that they were able to see and escaped.
Watching many cats and kittens heading out the door, I knew my task was complete and I jumped down from the chair. However, I cannot for some reason. I continued trying, meowing for anyone that could help me. But no one was able to hear me and I began to panic. Frustrated with the black chair that my butt was sitting on, I continued to make a fuss. Trying to break free from the bondage that the chair had inflicted upon me. However, I heard something. I looked up spotting someone in the shadows. His smile smirked upon me; his paws were clapping among one another. Startled, I tried to look afraid that he voiced into my head speaking "Welcome to the boarding school, Gowan."
