SR1
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Whoops image based on an RP whoops. There's errors all over it but MEH. I wanted to do something and didn't care how badly it went.
"SR1 was the first in line to the formerly defunct Project Ikarus. An automaton comprised of three basic layers, armour, "living" rubber and internal structure including an armoured spine.
Of course this bears no mention that Project Ikarus is about the integration of inorganic matter to organic entities, such as what SR1 was formerly. Via a conversion process the formerly organic hedgehog had his body bulked up and converted mostly to rubber, his mind physically connected to the collar around his neck and his mind completely digitalised. Via the collar, the subject can be connected to the main system for both monitoring vitals, and to update the subject with objectives, it's new identification as well as the specific personality override programs (Known as "mission mode"). After successfully converting the subject, the armour is then attached to the body, in SR1's case, mostly as a 'reward' for accepting his fate and that he was no-longer organic.
The final part of the conversion being his head, which upon conversion leaves the subject absent of any senses other than physical touch. The mask (depending on species or desired results is two or three pieces) then connects to collar, allowing the subject access to the various probes and sensors, as well as formally converting their senses over to the desired equivalents (HUD, increased audio reception range, etc.). The finalisation allows for the formal two way connection to the computer systems via wireless connection, giving the new robot access to additional resources and data needed for missions.
Of course, SR1 was never meant to be and down to the foolishness of his now creator not formally checking the programming for Mission Mode allowed SR1 to regain personal control from Mission Mode, in turn revived Project Ikarus that was shut down by the Government due to not producing results in the desired time frame, and added the scientist that upgraded him to the ranks of Project Ikarus.
SR1 however isn't completely in control of his own actions and is partly blindly following the computer systems that host Project Ikarus, even though he is now officially the controller of the project. Under the installed directive of "Enhance, protect and upgrade other specimens as needed for the project and it's goals.", which on a base level is merely "Expand Project Ikarus". Which left unchecked would certainly start converting multiple other innocent bystanders."
