Neil Schneider [ Visual Update ]
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Well…
I have been ignoring and neglecting most of my original characters for MONTHs now. With good reasons of course… and some not-so-good reasons as well.
I’ve always been indecisive when it comes to certain things. Writing my own stories has always been one. So when I started doing it again. I ran into a massive problem, which I have fortunately solved now; hopefully. So when I started getting slightly more serious with my writing hobby. I always threw ideas around for me to use. The only problem was… I made too many and I kept making more. And because I didn’t catalog these ideas properly. My characters and stories fell into a complete dumpster fire. So I set my characters down into a chest and just untangle the mess I made.
And now that I have untangled it. As well as settling on a concept I loved and have worked with for the past nine months or so. I have become confident enough to bring back most of my characters again. While it’s true that I have been working on my Lo:rE for the past nine months. It’s mostly just me refining the ideas and then compiling them into proper order. As well as working on the world-building, marking down ideas for canonical events, the story beats and updating my characters to fit with the new story.
After a week of working, I am now happy and proud to present the updated visuals of one of my oldest characters. Neil Schneider. I used to call him only [ Nomad ] because I was lazy with giving names to my characters. It’ll still be a part of his identity because of old-time sake. Funnily enough, I made this boy just for roleplaying with my friends. And I kept on developing him to the point of him becoming the oldest character I have when I resumed my art and writing hobbies.
This is how he used to look before [ https://www.sofurry.com/view/1821815 ]
And I have to say. I’m pretty proud of myself for how drastically I have improved in how I draw things. Also, love the fact that Niel looks much more mature now compared to his old design.
Neil, here is one of the main characters in the story I’m working on called [ Re:Clamation ]. A twenty-seven-year-old wolf who works as a frontline soldier during the events in the canon timeline.
I’ve posted snippets of the story before. Though they have become somewhat obsolete with the changes that I have made to the story.
On a side note, I got lazy with the background. But I’m still happy with it since this is a character-centric artwork. And I’ve nudging myself out of my comfort zone more and more to expand the things I draw nowadays.
