I don't smile.
I've never really had a reason to.
Every time I found something that made me smile, it ended up being empty, hollow, and wishful thinking.
I thought at times that I was someone who was worthy enough to be loved... honored...cherished...and adored.
There was one person in my life who gave me that, and he was taken away from me far before his time, a wound that never truly healed.
Those that came afterwards, lead me to believe I was special, important, something worthwhile... How many times did he lie to me? I think I lost count...
I don't smile. Not Anymore.
But there's a part of me, still crying, that so desperately wants to.
