Fates Forever
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
So... I have recently downloaded this app and it's eating me alive. Not that I mind it. :3 In fact, I've never heard of MOBA's (Massively Online Battle Arenas for those who are new to that acronym) till I found this little gem.
Apparently, this game was supposed to be a "breath of fresh air" for MOBA's, and due to my lack of knowledge of such games (except for knowing that League of Legends - aka LoL - is one), I guess I am not sure whether this is a one probably another LoL, as one review said.
I also noticed that the game had a lot of rounds on the social media, because, well, it's something new and looks like it has a lot of potential. Not to mention it was [probably] made by the owner of OpenFeint or something like. Don't judge me. I skimmed some web pages/articles.
The controls for this game is pretty simple. Just tap on a spot and your character will go there. If you don't like tapping, you can just touch and hold and move your thumb in the direction you want to go. For fighting 'Tributes' or other players, just tap them.
Other than just smacking your opponent on the head multiple times, there is your classic 'mana moves'. You can find it along the left side of the screen. However, you need to progress in the battle first in order to unlock each magic spell/special ability/whatever you call it.
As the game progresses, you'd find that you can level up each of your magic spells and make them stronger. With these upgraded and more powerful magics, you'd find taking down Tributes pretty easy.
However, there is a "Shop" button that appears when you die or start in your spawn area. This brings up a menu that has offensive items (e.g Cursed Blade), defensive weapons (e.g Flux Armor), health-related items (e.g your basic health potion), mana-related items (I forgot some their names) and Final Items... All of these help customize your character during the course of the battle.
I forgot to mention that you collect coins and level up as you murder the opposing team. :3
Still, I find this to be a very decent, if not rather enjoyable, game to play. If you want to try something new, or looking for another MOBA, this is probably the game for you.
And just because I feel lonely as I play this game, mah gamer tag:

Add me if you want. ^^
PS: Forgot to mention it's filled with anthropomorphic animals. :3
