Swimming (The Ocean EP)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I had fun making this thing. I decided I may as well just release one thing for my new "EP" before I let out with an album or something. Felt like you people would want to listen to this. ^^
As to how I made this, well, I had a tune of sorts stuck in my head. I played around with this tune and found what I call the "raw" melody that you hear. It wasn't nearly as good sounding, but it was something. It also laid out a beat I can improve on, and add some more structure to it. After I got the piano track set down, I had to go through EVERY note and rearrange them. It was only after I was halfway finished with the rearrangement and slight touch ups on the timing did I realize I can do a sort of "auto-arrangement" and went with that. This little "cheat" was nearly identical to what I had already after the mark ups, so I wasn't to angry about it.
After a couple of listens, I found it to be a bit bland, so I threw in a bass to mess with the piano and make it sort of "stutter". This effect was quite desirable, so I toyed around with how this should go. It went through about 5 trials before I settled on this version.
Hope ye enjoy the music. ^^ I most certainly had fun making this track.
