Marcel O'Brien started as human funnily enough and I decided I would put him everywhere. So he' in Star Trek too and his iteration sees him after a transporter accident turned him into aan anthro panther. Shut up, I like that trope XD

He's captain on the I.S.S Marseillaise, a ather vicious dreadnought ship that's seen action vs Klingons, Romulans, Borg, you name it. He's not entirely got away scot-free as he has battle scars from each fight that he wears proudly. Like any Terran, conquest is his goal and he has ambition beyond his rank.

His transformation was after a routine mssion but the pattern buffer held a Caitian one and somehow it glitched. As he arrived his pattern merged and thuis be became feline. It was deterined he was not Caitian but the pattern had interfered with his own and altered it enough taht he looked almost like one but was still mostly human. He resisted every effort to change back, deciding to stay as he was and relearn how his new body worked.

H is cruelty incarnate. He shows no mercy, pushes his luck with crew and superiors and shows a cruel ambition beyond his rank.

In other words an irredeemable prick. And I'm not talking about his anatomy either. I love him.
