Progress towards the "Feathers with Benefits" rewrite isn't just measured in word count. Here is the first official art of Riane, the lovely and stalwart main gryphess!

The artist is Likeshine, and those of you who know the name won't need further explanation! For those that don't, she is an absolutely excellent artist, particularly of the avian persuasions, and she did a phenomenal job bringing Riane to life. Considering my original description of her in-story was "sunset-red feathers," "tawny fur," "tufted tail," and damn all else, she did even better than my best imaginings.

She is also open for commissions! Much as many artist and writers (myself included), the billionaire manchild ruining Twitter broke a major platform for many of us networking and selling. Definitely give her at least a follow, if not some patronage as well!

And of course, more to come later. I have an artist lined up for cover art once I'm closer to release time—I'm not gonna try to even guess at an ETA, sorry, but I do hope to have more concrete news later this year.
