KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Karis, "Ricochet" or "Rikka" for short, is a Feral Keynari of the Arctous Variety, that served alongside Isiat as a service dog of the British armed forces. Originally assigned to explosive ordnance disposal crews of the REME regiments, he later found his way as a tracking and trap detection mutt serving with Isiat and the 22nd Special Air Service regiment, becoming something of a platoon mascot.

Born the second of a litter of five, Karis was raised and trained as a drug and explosive detection dog for Keynarian Facility Government, London. His linniage included a Fera Arctous Keynari stud and previous security and detection dog, and a Fera Vulcan Keynari bitch, along with traces of German Sheppard and Doberman. After five years of a very successful role within the facility providing security for the customs checkpoints, he was transferred topside as part of a joint agreement between the Keynarian facilities and the British Government to provide trained canines for police and military use, in exchange for MI6 Database access and intelligence sharing privileges.

Assigned to the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Karis proved an invaluable asset for helping locate IED's and hidden explosive traps during Operation Iraqi Freedom and the subsequent occupation by allied forces. After a long stint digging up and detonating explosives however, by pure chance, an S.A.S section at the main British camp requested to 'Borrow' (See: Requisition by means of rank) Karis for an operation.

Finding this line of work much more to his liking, Karis endeavoured during the few black ops he was brought along for to do as best he could, in hopes that the section would request his transfer. His plan was successful, and after some argument, Alpha Section, Bravo company of the 22nd Special Air Service Regiment adopted him into their midst, making him their 'section mascot.'

After being taken off the front lines however, Isiat offered to adopt him out of the service with his retirement, and since then, he has remained a 'Faithful and good mutt' for the former Commando, living with him and his wife as their house pet and guard dog, and making mischief whenever he can.
